This guy is hiding a knife in his coat. He is acting to assassinate me.

A panel suddenly pops up in front of me. This is a triggered event huh. I never tried to clear the stage this way in the past so everything from now on will be foreign to me.

Option 2.

"I know you have a knife in your coat. What are you planning to do?" I say? (my mouth started moving on its own.)

"What!...I...am sorry! I need you to die!"

He says and he dashes towards me with the knife.

...No more option panel showing up? Good. Now I can do things my way.

I shift my head a little to dodge his attack and punch his stomach, throwing him back to a wall, knocking him out.

Alright. Now here comes my favourite part.

I tie him to a pillar and pour a bottle of water on him, waking him up.

"Ugh...what?"

I press a knife against his throat.

"Tell me who told you to kill me?"

"T-That's-"

I press the knife deeper until blood starts to appear.

"Wait wait wait!!! Okay okay, I will tell you." Says the man. "We are researchers working to find a cure-"

"Lies. You are kidnapping specimen right?" I say. "If I'm not wrong, you guys are the ones who created the virus."

"What?! How did you know-"

I kill the man after confirming my assumption. They indeed are the ones who created the virus, I just need more clues.

I scrutinise the man for clues and found nothing useful except for a paper saying:

Kill anyone you find and go down to E16

...

Wait.

Did I just unintentionally send those girls to...

I run towards the stairs and jump over the railings into the gaps between, only stopping at floor E16 when I grab the handrail of the stairs there. I climb back in and ram the door through. It's quiet. Too quiet.

I close my eyes and focus all my senses on hearing...

I can hear footsteps...light one. And growling??!?

I look at the health bar of both of them.

Damn it, it's both down to half. They are fighting something.

I follow the sound and ram the door open, both of them are tied up and being hung on the roof. Below them are hordes of zombies.

"Karma!!" Reina screams when she sees me.

...

What now?! If I'm not wrong. The one who cleared the stage threatens some sort of doctor till he finally gives in.

...

Ah!... i got a plan.

I message them to wait there and that I will guarantee they won't die.

"Eh? Karma? Why are you-"

"Why are you shouting huh?" Says a distant voice.

The zombies are not attacking him?!

Some old man shows up. He is wearing a lab coat and a mask too. What the hell is he...

"Just stay there and be food for them." He says to the girls.

Just when he was about to leave. With one swift slice, I decapitate every zombie and place the cold blade against his neck.

"Give me the cure," I say. "Or your head will go rolling like them."

"...You...who are you."

"You don't need to know. Give me the cure now."

"Heh..." He laughs a little and suddenly a panel shows up in front of me.

Boss battle has been triggered

...really?

The old man laughs and explodes. I manage to jump back in time before all the green gross stuff splatters onto me.

He turns into some sort of giant zombie and breaks through the roof. I run and jump to catch both the falling girls before placing them on the floor.

I untie them and ask them to stay back.

The giant zombie roars at me and I sigh.

This zombie is so weak that it's a waste of my time and effort.

...but...i will do it.

"Sword art form 2."

I hold my breath and close my eyes. Borrowing the power from the air, I swing my sword and control the atmosphere, creating a wind blade that instantly slices the huge body into two. Clean and swift.

The huge zombie, probably as tall as a five-floor building, instantly dies.

Before it drops onto the ground, I give him a little extra "beating" and butcher everything into small little parts at the speed of light.

Within 5 seconds, the only thing that remains is the small little chopped up parts of greenish meat and gore.

I walk up to the mess and grab one tiny part, it's about as big as an eyeball.

"Wow...my new record," I mumble.
