Chapter 12

Alright, now that I've killed half of the members of that group. The "hide and seek" has begun.

But...I'm not the one hiding, I'm SEEKING.

The group of rapists I eliminated while saving Ika is only half of the original group. The rest has gone out to scavenge for food, though I did steal everything in their storage so they must be pretty mad and desperate right now.

I throw a glance at Ika. She gulps and touches my shoulder, she is still traumatized by that bloody scene huh...

"He is not a maniac. You can rest assured." Says Reina.

Ika nods and uses her blessing skill on me. Reina used her blessing skill on me too. Now I wonder if the system is going to think that I'm cheating...

Heh, there is no way the system has evidence either so I should not worry about that.

On the other hand, I need to do something about the last objective too. Which should I prioritise?

Actually, yeah screw them. I need to clear this stage first. I can settle them in the next stage.

"Karma, so what are we going to do next?" Asks Reina.

"Save the world."

...

"Huh?"

"What. The last objective."

"Wait, you want to clear the last objective?!" Exclaims Reina.

"Of course. I need you, girls, to level up your blessing skill faster." I say.

"I-...where are we even going to start."

"Well, follow me. It's going to be quite a long trip to that science laboratory."

We ended up spending half of the day avoiding survivors and zombies to reach the area. The girls we saved decided to disperse and go their ways(at the same time, also killing any man they see because they don't trust any right now)

I look up from below. It's the tallest building in this entire city and it's in the middle of this place.

I ram the door open and of course, Everything is not touched, just like I predicted.

This place is messy though. I signal Ika and Reina to follow me down but just when I was about to step down the stairs, I hear a certain growl behind me.

I look back and a huge zombie, probably one of a bodybuilder, crash down from the level above.

Oh yeah...i forgot about this guy.

"W-Whats that?" Says Ika

"Go. Go down and stop when you see level E16. I will handle this." I say, drawing my katana out.

"Eh? You can defeat that-"

"Let's go! Karma can defeat that thing." Says Reina. After she says that, Ika obediently nods and follows.

Hmm...true. This thing is a piece of cake for me but...

ROARRRRRRRR

the fact that it roars and attracts the attention of zombies within a radius of 1 kilometre is...a bit troublesome.

I dash forward and decapitate the huge zombie in one strike. And yes, the entire zombie horde in the city is now coming for me... I sigh and decided to drink a bottle of water and eat a burger quickly.

"Well. Let's use the zombies here as a warm-up then." I say.

Bloody hell.

The entrance area of the tower...the lobby is now drenched with blood and bodies. Luckily, no blood was splattered on me; I was able to control how it was splattered because of my style.

"Anyway, come out, will you?" I shout to the man hiding under the table.

"H-How...did you find me. What kind of monster are you..." He says, revealing himself.

I smile.

"Just your typical boy. Nothing special about me." I say.
