4 Chapter 4. It Seems Like Some Of Silvia’s Family Don’t Like That I’m A Demon

Eldest prince "wait does that ancient spell actually work?!?"

Azmond "why'd it summon a demon and not a beastial?"

Eldest prince "Great! Just perfect! A fucking monster was summoned! What more could go wrong!"

Queen "Huten Azmond you're being extremely rude to our life's savior! Did you forget how to show gratitude and respect for others? Especially someone you owe your life to! Shame on you both!"

Huten "but mother it's just some stupid demon. I doubt it even knows how to do anything but fight! Their all a bunch of brainless barbairians who don't even care about their own people let alone others!"

Silvia "brother!?!"

Azmond "son your mother is right even if it doesn't know what gratitude or respect are it still saved our lives we should not be as ungrateful to them as they are to those who have helped them."

Silvia "father you to?!?"

Queen "how can you!?!"

Inferno "your words will be wasted on your foolish son and husband queen. They're going to think in ignorance no matter what you say. I expected to be discriminated against from the start after all I'm a demon. It's only natural to fear what you don't understand. And that fear will always tern to hate and discrimination and when you take into account that the demon world was glassed and this one hasn't yet a sense of superiority that they have something that my kind lost. And if I'm not mistaken propaganda from Terrans about demons doesn't help. Though I can say that demons haven't helped with it after all demons are prideful creatures and would never could never even if they wanted to rely on others helping them. More than likely if they get attached to the people around them the Terrans would use those people as a weapon to kill sed demons. Why would they want to rely upon others when others in a situation like this are more of a burden than the people who want the demons to rely on them even realize? And even just being around others when your a demon puts the people you're helping in much greater danger than if you were never there, because the Terrans are hurting any of your people who aren't already captured or killed down, because even one of the demons is a great threat to their power. any time they hear about a surviving one they go all out in trying to kill it or capture it not caring about the casualties. would you in a situation similar to this want to get others involved in your troubles? Could you get others involved in it?

Queen "…"

Azmond "…"

Huten "… tch."

Silvia "brother your no better then the Terrans!"

Huten "how dare you! I'm nothing like those monsters!"

Inferno "oh really? Then tell me because I'm curious. How is how you treat me any different from how the Terrans treat your race minus the violence? Even when your own mother reprimanded you what did you do? Did you recognize your mistake and apologize? Or did you go further with your insults not even paying heed to your mother's words? Tell me prince what do you think a Terran would do or say in your shoes?"

Inferno "silents… Well it's not really like I was expecting much from you yet still you found a way to let me down. I am truly disappointed prince."

Queen "I'm sorry for how my family has treated you. Um?"

Inferno "Inferno is my name."

Angelia "inferno I'm truly sorry for my husband and sons ungrateful attitude towards you my name's Angelia."

Inferno "you shouldn't be the one apologizing Angelia but I'll except your apology nonetheless."

Angelia "you're right. It shouldn't be me apologizing but these two are too prideful to lower their heads even if they're wrong."

Inferno "pride isn't a bad thing. But too much pride will blind you to the truth of others and yourself, and when you don't truly know who you're enemies are and you don't truly know yourself you'll lose every battle you try to fight until your enemies take everything from you."

Angelia "you are very wise. If you don't mind my asking how old are you?"

Inferno "32."

Angelia "so young! How long does your species live for? I know you're not a demon from this universe so I'm curious."

Inferno "100,000,000 years is the average lifespan for most of my kind."

Angelia " on-100,000,000 years!?!

You'll outlive everyone for 1,000 generations!"

Inferno "so your lifespans are only 100,000 years. That's kinda depressing. Well I should get to space to stop the Terrans. I'll be back in a few hours."

Angelia "won't you need a ship?"

Inferno "na I can both fly and breathe in space so I'm good."

Angelia, huten, azmond, "YOU CAN BREATHE IN SPACE AND FLY!?!"

Inferno "yep." *starts to fly* "see you in a bit" *flys outside the castle then into space*

Angelia "husband, son, not only have you installed our family's savior after he saved us. You even refused to apologize when you messed up and even insulted him further. You have truly disgusted me today. I'm truly disappointed in both of you."

Azmond "…"

Huten "but mother he's just a filthy demon."

Angelia "you didn't even listen to him did you! What makes you any different from the Terrans who are always looking down on other races because they're different?"

Huten "…"

Angelia "you think far too highly of yourself huten. I could feel it. If he wanted to he could definitely destroy an entire solar system with ease. And you think you're better than him? In what way? Whether it's wisdom intelligence power endurance or speed he has you beat. And when it comes to being humble he's got you beat by an entire planets length. So tell me how are you better than him?"

Huten "…tch."

Angelia "you need to look into yourself and do some serious self reflection from now on son. What kind of person do you want to be? Do you truly want to be like the Terrans? Or do you want to be better than them? Only you can decide whether or not you'll be a monster like the Terrans or a wise man like sir Inferno."

Huten "wise? He's only 32 how can he be wiser than me a 2,053 year old?"

Angelia "age doesn't equal wisdom son. If you live for 100,000 years but you lern nothing throughout your lifetime of failures how can you be considered wiser than a 20 year old who's learned from their failures every time?"
