Chapter eighteen

Walking out the computer lab room we went down the long school hallway, trying to figure out where our shy and meek friend could possibly have gone.

"Maybe she's in the cafeteria"

I said enthusiastically.

"Why would she be in the cafeteria?"

A confused Yusa asked looking like she had just about had it with me. Funny saying that since she's only known me for a month.

"Why wouldn't she be in the cafeteria?"

I retorted with a smirk plastered on the look of annoyance on my Asian friend's face was amusing, to say the least.

"Guys,"

Erica cut in, stood between us and pushed us further apart to prevent any violent outbreaks from Yusa being conducted.

"First of all, stop being such an annoying little twit Clove"

"Hey!"

"Secondly we don't know if she'd be there or not so might as well check right?"

Looking over to Yusa with a nervous look Erica waited for her to answer. A little hesitant at first she huffed out a sigh of irritation but agreed anyway.

"Fine, but I still don't think any right person in their mind would hide in the cafeteria of a public school"

"I would!"

I jumped with my hand raised as if I was an excited elementary schooler who knew the answer to a question the teacher asked. Yusa looked at me with a blank stare and tone even.

"I said in their right mind, you're not in your right mind."

Stopping to look at her with a blank face and an uninterested look now matching hers we stared each other down. From an outsider's point of view, I'm certain we looked like two wolves sizing each other up, preparing to fight and Erica was the bunny caught between the two of us.

"Okay you hormone-infused teenage girls, we're looking for Somila here not trying to kill one another."

Standing between us with her arms held out to push us away from each other, Erica stood her ground with an unbothered expression. Looking to Yusa then back to me repeatedly with a serious look. While she looked at me, Yusa stuck her tongue at me and I reciprocated the act when Erica looked her way.

"Well?!"

She asked awaiting our answers.

"Fine!"

"Fine!"

We both replied with an attitude. I rolled my eyes while Yusa made a face.

"Good, so to the cafeteria we go"

Walking ahead of us while simultaneously looking through the classroom windows just to make sure Somila wasn't in there, we followed the flame-haired girl. However behind her Yusa and I were busy pushing and shoving each other, calling each other names, and slapping the other on the arm. It seemed like slapping me was nearly not enough as Yusa changed tactics and pinched me instead.

"Ow!"

I whispered in a harsh tone holding onto my exposed arm with an annoyed expression.

"Serves you right!"

She whispered back with a smug on her face. Irritated at her I did the same and pinched her on the same arm side she did me.

"Ouch. Hey, what the heck?"

She whispers yelled. Smirking back at her I said to her with a hushed tone full of arrogance

"Serves you right!"

Scoffing at my retort she reached out to attack once more.

"Hey, you already pinched me!"

I complained, pinching the back of her hand.

"Yeah, but then you pinched me back!"

She angrily stated pinching me again.

"Well, that was revenge!"

Pinch.

"And this is my revenge against your revenge!"

Another pinch.

"I swear if you don't stop I'm seriously gonna body slam you!"

Assault pinch.

"Oh, I'd like to see you try!"

One more pinch.

"Oh, that is it!"

Jumping up at her I tackled her to the ground wrapped my legs around her and began pinching her nonstop. Her arms were pinned against her sides by my thighs, preventing her from retaliating back or counterattacking.

"This is what you get, you dumb little-"

"What are you guys doing?"

I stopped my excellent well thought pinch attack to look up at Erica, who had the expression of an angry mother looking down at her tantrum-throwing toddler.

Faking an innocent smile I slowly brought my hands to Yusa's hair and began caressing it like one would their favourite doll.

"N-nothing, I was just...just taking something out of her hair. Right, Yusa?"

Looking down at the girl underneath me she raised a brow in confusion.

"What are you talking ab-"

Covering her mouth with a free hand before she said something that would get us in trouble with mama bear over there, I gave another fake and nervous laugh while slowly looking up at Erica.

"She's just being shy"

Wiping away a fake tear I then placed my hand over my heart. Erica, unamused by my act said with an even tone.

"And since when is Yusa, the girl who assaults almost anyone she finds slightly annoying and broke a football player's arm, shy?"

Yeah, she had me there. Somila was the shy one, not this spawn of unknown dark origins we call Yusa.

Speaking of which aren't we supposed to be looking for the other right now? What have we been doing this whole time, fooling around and being stupid childish teenagers?

...Oh, wait. We were.

"Well, it's a pretty bad thing in her head. The thing that's in her hair is a very bad thing is what I mean. It's just really...really bad."

I nervously said with an equally uncertain smile that basically screamed, NOT TO BE TRUSTED!

Giving me a disapproving look that said she did not believe a single word I was saying I couldn't help but not blame her for her distrust in me. I mean I hardly believed myself here.

Without warning, she changed her attitude to a friendlier and sweeter one making the two of us who laid on the floor nervous.

"Really then? Well, then let's see it. Pull it out."

My smile dropped and I was now a nervous sweating teen girl.

"Wh-what?"

"Pull. It. Out!"

Emphasizing each word did not in any way make it easier for me to follow through with her instructions. If anything I just got more scared for my life here.

"O-okay."

Hesitantly abiding by her instructions I looked down at Yusa who was still held between my thighs and had her mouth covered by my hand. She glared up at me with the most venom I'd ever seen in any human's eyes. And that's including my mom.

Before I could say anything to her I felt a thick, wet, leathery tongue trace its way between the crooks of my fingers. Like it was on fire I quickly retracted my hand and looked at her in complete and utter disgust. The girl just smirked up at me with a glint in her eye.

Irritated and repulsed I took the very same hand she licked and pinched her two lips together to close that disgusting mouth and shut her up. Lowering my head to hers I brought my face close to hers and whispered to her in a dangerously low voice,

"Listen here you little piece of shit, you're gonna sit there like a good little monster and pretend like I'm helping you take something outta your hair. That is unless,"

Squishing her cheeks together I forced her to look at the tall, angry figure standing before us and continued my sentence.

"You want to deal with that"

Forcing her to look back up at me I asked with an evil glint in my eye.

"So, what's it gonna be?"

Hesitant at first it seemed like she found her resolve and slowly nodded her head, giving me the green light.

"I'm waiting!"

Erica announced with irritation thickly lacing her voice.

"Okay, I'm doing it."

Nervous yet again I looked down at Yusa, face still squished together by the cheeks and once again whispered to her.

"I'm gonna pull some of your hair out okay?"

Eyes wide in fear she frantically shook her head at me. Begging me not to do it.

"Yes, I'm gonna okay. You're gonna be fine, I promise."

She started struggling to try to get out from underneath me. Tightening my thighs around her arms to prevent her from escaping I made sure to pin her down and restrict her movements.

"Hey, it's okay I promise I'll be gentle. It won't hurt at all, I swear."

Whispering down to her trying to calm her down I smiled at her with the most reassuring smile I could muster.

Wow, I swear I did not mean to sound like a creepy pervert yet here I am. Straddling a girl, having her pinned beneath me, her cheeks squished to prevent her from screaming out, whilst whispering; "You'll be okay, I'll take care of you" in her ear. As if that's not enough I'm even giving her the creepy pervert smile.

Damn, I feel so freaking guilty for something I'm not even doing. The perverted thing, not pinning her down and stuff cause I'm definitely doing that.

"Okay, okay. I'll just...take this out."

Yusa's eyes widened into saucers and she tried to free herself from my grasp by thrashing around more.

"Shshshsh. It's alright, let me just..."

Grabbing a few strands of her hair from deep underneath her head and without a second thought I pulled on the strands.

A muffled out scream of sheer terror came tumbling out from the girl under me. Tears came falling out from the corner of her eyes and I watched with awe as they cascaded down from her cheeks to the floor.

Looking down at my hand I saw that I'd taken just a bit more than a few strands.

What I was holding was in fact a fist full of hair. As soon as I saw it my jaw dropped, mouth agape in a silent scream I looked to see that Yusa dawned on the very same look as I.

Before I could even hide it her eyes rolled to the back and her head fell back to the cold floor. I swear I saw her soul leave her body and elope right there and then.

Forgetting her for a bit I looked back to Erica who had both hands covering her mouth, eyes wide in complete horror.

"S-see, hair knots. Veeery troublesome"

Five minutes of silence was what I received as a response and I couldn't take the sound of muteness. It killed me if I had to be honest.

"Hey!"

Breaking the silence, since I couldn't take it anymore I called out to Erica ignoring the passed-out girl laying beneath me.

"Weren't we off looking for Somila? Yeah, I think we were."

Climbing off Yusa, not before wiping my hand off on her shirt, of course, I jumped to my feet and gave Erica a semi-rough pat on the shoulder.

"So...are we gonna go or?"

Both the red hair and her friend gave me death looks, Yusa's much more deadly than Erica's. Oh, look at that she's up.

"Okay, then."

Rolling my eyes I walked away from them and got back on our quest to find the other fourth member of our very odd squad.

Call us, The Suicide Squad! Yeah, woohoo, alright.

...But suicide is the wrong word to use so I guess we'd be called, The Stupid Squad...Plus one, Me!

Venturing deeper into the school the sound of two footsteps closely following behind me could be heard. Looking over my shoulder I saw Erica continuously looking through the windows in the doors while Yusa profusely rubbed at her head.

It took all I had in me not to burst out in a lighter at the girl. What's worse is I still had her hair held tightly in my hand.

Why didn't I throw it away? I don't know.

Maybe I'm gonna keep it as a souvenir or reminder to her not to mess with me again. Or maybe it's as a warning to others.

Who knows!

"Well, she's not in any of these classrooms. These are locked anyway, so we might as well look in the cafeteria."

Yusa rolled her eyes as I smiled in triumph. Yeah, told ya the cafeteria was a good idea.

Busting through the double doors like the bad bitches we rightfully were, our search immediately began. Which didn't take too long since the place was indeed large but that meant it was mostly open space.

We even checked in the kitchen but came out empty-handed. It was very disappointing if you asked me.

"Well, she isn't here"

Throwing my hands up in frustration I puffed out my cheeks mimicking my little sister.

"I told you she wouldn't be as dumb as you to hide in here. Not everyone is that stupid!"

Rolling her eyes at me, Yusa went back to scratching her head.

"Okay, listen you-"

Just as I was about to talk back and say something rude, miss bossy pants interrupted me mid-sentence. The audacity of this wench!

"Both of you stop! We're here looking for Somila,"

"Uhm...guys-"

Yusa tried to interject, yet was denied access.

"And you two keep fighting like little three-year-olds,"

"Guys-"

"And I'm just sick and tired of it. If I hear one more argument coming from the two of you,"

"Guys-"

"I swear I'll rip you apart and feed you to my fish. Of which I'll get just to eat you!"

"Guys!"

"What, Yusa!? What is so important that you have to interrupt my ranting?!"

"Uhm, I found Somila"

She said pointing out the window to the school's courtyard.

"What?"

Looking out to the outside we saw the tiny, black-dressed girl hunched back in the cargo bed of a truck.

A truck! Damn...wish I thought of it.

"Uh, guys the truck, the truck is moving!"

My eyes widened into the size of my mom's fancy plates as we watched our brunette friend be driven off at the back of a truck.

Probably, most definitely scared outta her mind.

"Go, we gotta get her. Run, run, go after it!"

Like dumb delinquents, we all jumped out the window which luckily was on the ground floor. And off we ran after the truck that whisked away our shy and now panicking friend.

Well...

Shit.

Yello, my little tadpoles. How's your January going? Mine not so well but that's not why you're here. I'm thinking of changing the cover of this book, make it a bit more comedic or more these crazy girls, ya know? anyway let me know what you think about the story so far and please don't forget to drop your girl a power or show some love.

Bye-bye now >3<
