Amestia was a pink fox that lived with a nature wind, Lyla.

They had been together ever since the shadow war ended, and Amestia loves outdoors.

One night, Amestia was sleeping in Lyla's comfy home, when suddenly, she woke up in a different place, and that place was the forest.

Amestia knew the forest very well as she liked to play with Lyla here. However, she was alone and Lyla's home was far away.

Now you might be wondering, ''But Lyla is a nature wind! Shouldn't her home be at the forest?''

Each wind has a special item that must be kept safe. If the item falls into the hands (or the claws) of a creature, the wind will just become an ordinary creature and the other creature who has it will become the new wind. Creatures with the item will transform into a human, with powers.

For the wind's security, their homes are hidden from the creatures. The winds also sometimes wear the item so that it could be with them at all times, while others preferred to keep their items at home.

While Amestia wandered around the forest, rustling sounds were heard from a bush. She became curious and went closer to the bush. Just then, a shadow came out of it and ran as fast as it could.

''Wait! Stop! Please!'' Amestia chased after the shadow. However, the shadow did not listen.

''I need help! I suddenly got teleported here while I was sleeping!'' Amestia shouted again.

The shadow stopped, murmuring, ''Help...?''

Then, Amestia crashed into the shadow. ''Ah! Sorry! I thought you would never stop running away from me!'' Amestia sat and caught her breath.

''Are you lost? Let me take you to my home, if you want,'' the shadow said calmly. ''Um... sure...'' Amestia followed the shadow.

''I thought you were going to hunt me down,'' she sighed.

Ever since the shadow war, many creatures were trying to hunt down the remaining shadows for gold. It was rumoured that shadows worth a ton, and can be used as fuels.

''Ahaha... sorry...'' Amestia apologized.

''Ah, no! You don't have to be sorry,'' said the shadow, surprised by the fox's apology.

They arrived at a big pond surrounding a cave, the shadow's home. The pond was so big that no creatures could ever leap across. Amestia looked at the shadow, ''How do you get there?''

The shadow pointed at the pond and a bridge appeared. ''Quickly get to the cave, we might get spotted,'' the shadow said, and Amestia quickly crossed the bridge.

After they reached the cave, the bridge disappeared. They went inside the cave and the shadow lit up a lamp.

The lamp looked like it was telling a story about the shadows as there were smudged paintings on it that represents shadows and the shape of the lamp does not look like an ordinary lamp.

''You have a really cool lamp,'' Amestia examined it. ''Yeah... That was made by my father... he passed away during the war,'' she sighed. Amestia felt sorry for the shadow, ''Mine too...''

Both of them were silent for a moment. ''Are you hungry? Maybe I can cut some mushrooms for you. The mushrooms might not taste good though, is it still ok?'' the shadow asked.

Amestia nodded.

While the shadow was preparing Amestia's meal, Amestia asked shyly, ''Um... I realized we haven't asked for each other's name yet. I'm Amestia...''

The shadow replied, ''Oh! I'm Aylai. You have a nice name though. Are you the fox king's daughter?'' Amestia was surprised and said awkwardly, ''Ahaha... yes, I am... I don't even know why I am popular by my name.''

Aylai giggled a little, and served Amestia the mushrooms, ''Well, I have a power that lets me see other parts of the world like a camera...''

''That's pretty nice. Imagine if I can see where my owner's home is... heheh... she's a wind...'' Amestia smiled sadly. ''Er... no. It doesn't work that way. I can only use it when I have enough energy. If I keep using it, I might be blind. Additionally, normal creatures, even with powers, can't see the wind's home,'' Aylai explained seriously.

''Oh... alright...'' Amestia started eating the mushrooms.

Aylai sat beside Amestia. Amestia looked up and asked, ''Aylai, are there evil winds that are still alive now?''

Aylai nodded, ''Unfortunately, yes, and it's the current dark wind. Let me tell you a story.''

''The old dark wind, Dartit, was a shadow and a father of a half - human shadow, Darkrit. Of course, it was all happy at first, until Darkrit learnt about power. He decided to trick Dartit into teaching him how to reach to the moon, the dark wind's item, and later stole the moon while Dartit was away. After the moon was stolen, Darktrit couldn't be found. Everything became chaos as Darkrit was the one who started the whole war,'' Aylai explained.

Amestia finished her mushrooms, looking shocked, ''So, you mean... a child started a war? Really?'' Amestia was amazed, but upset at the same time. Power was not a child's play.

''Well... the moon mighth've made him mature now, even though he's as short as a seven-year-old,'' Aylai nodded.

''Anyways, maybe we could go on an...'' Amestia hesitated. ''Adventure? I... need to find my owner...''

''Mhm, sure, now that I have you. Where should we go?'' Aylai asked.

Amestia thought about her favourite place, ''What about Waterlands? It's really fun there.'' Aylai shook her head, ''Maybe we should go to the nearest islands first. What about Icyland? It's the safest place since penguins are allies with shadows.''

''That can be a start then!'' Amestia agreed.

They exit the cave and followed the map's directions to Icyland.
