21 Chapter 20: Overpowered Skills
Kaya found himself back in the town. Upon opening his system interface, he was bombarded by a series of notifications.

After reading the class contents, Kaya felt mixed emotions. He was both amazed and angry at the same time. Amazed as he gained ungodly skills that would be of help in defeating enemies with ease. Angry as it prohibits him from not gaining any external skills or skills from the weapons he wielded. What was the point of being able to use any weapons if he couldn't even use its full capabilities?
When he thought about it for some time, he found it fair considering that the class quest did make him fight purely based on his capabilities and did not allow him to depend on skills and items. Thankfully he could still use the effects of his items and the system skill rewards like Monster Eater and Fighting Virtuoso.
'The skills are still godly nonetheless so let's accept it.'
Kaya had no choice but to accept this reality. He could only hope to collect as many high-ranking items as quickly as possible so he could use the properties of the Fighting Monarch's Orb.
'These skills are amazing on their own but I wanna try Monarch's Authority.'
Kaya checked the activation of his passive skill Monarch's Authority. It was simpler than it looked, he simply had to think of a nearby object that his peripheral vision could see and control it using either his mind or hands for more versatility. He tried to control a flower that was in a window of a small house. Upon activation, his eyes glowed in a bluish glow and his hands glowed as with the inanimate objects he tried to control. Unfortunately, he ended up controlling the entire house, it flew up to the ground by a few inches and he immediately relinquish the control when he heard a commotion inside the house.
'This is harder than I thought.'
Kaya went to a desolate place out of the eyes of anyone and started practicing the skill. He went to try on a small rock first, when he controlled it to move towards him, it levitated and as soon as he pulled it, it shot like a bullet towards his face so he immediately evaded by bending his head away.
He did this a few more times until he could have full control of small objects. After mastering it, he went to control bigger objects this time, it was a lot easier to control due to their size and but he could feel the heaviness of the object, unlike the small objects. When he tried to control bigger and bigger objects, he found them easier to control but harder to move. When he tried to control a giant boulder that was stored in size, it flew up by a few inches in the air before Kaya let go of it. His nose started bleeding and his head felt dizzy.
'It seems that I could only control objects that are equal to my Strength.'
He wanted to try his skill out so he distributed all of his statuses points to strength and see if he could carry the boulder with much ease.

Kaya sighed as he looked at the runestone in his hands, knowing that he had no use for it anymore, he placed it back in his inventory and activated Monarch's Authority, once he lifted the boulder, it was a lot lighter to carry and it felt like he was carrying a 100-kilo dumbbell in his hands. He immediately threw the boulder high in the sky.

Kaya was surprised upon seeing the window panel in his view. He immediately realized that the boulder he threw must've squashed the red players on it's impact. He could only sympathize since it was simply the work of fate that it had happened to them.
'I should register in the Adventurer's Association now.'
Kaya had no means of transportation so he had no choice but to run on foot. Players could ride a carriage and although costly, it could allow players to travel across the entire city but Kaya had to go to the neighboring city which was Shellcon City, only then could he choose to ride a carriage if he wanted but he'd rather travel in the foot than to spend a few tens of silver since he was cheap.
'Oh right, I had a few of those elemental stones in my inventory, I should use them.'
He was able to garner two elemental stones which were the reward from the treasure chests he opened.

After groaning in so much pain, the stinging disappeared abruptly and a window panel appeared in his view.

It was a long number of all the elements that existed in the world. He has still yet to fulfill one of the categories and his Poison Element was the only nearest element at 50+ points and that would still take him a lot longer to acquire the remaining needed points. Since he couldn't get any Poison Elements from the goblins, he needed to find another monster with a high affinity to the poison Element. But for now, he retrieved it from his inventory since it was too precious to leave in his storage ring.
'Now that I'm settled, I should leave the city.'
Upon reaching the outskirts of the city walls, Kaya was stopped by a group of players. These players ranged from level 80 to 100 and one of which was a level 120 Knight.
"Are you Alon? The one who was able to defeat the hell mode dungeon by himself?"
"Yes?"
"It's nice to meet you, Alon, I won't make this long. Join the Wind Rider Guild. We will give you a salary of 200 thousand dollars a month and you'll be promoted to an elder reserved for the guild. We'll also be giving you a set piece of Ultra-rare equipment and an epic rank weapon based on your classification and we'll help you in reaching level 100 in 2 weeks. How about it? Do you like our offer?"
The grimy man named Harold said in confidence. Any player in tier 1 would be tempted by the offer and would immediately sign a contract which was what Harold was thinking in his head. Everybody around him also thought the same thing, only a retard would decline their offer.
"I apologize but I'm in quite a hurry."
Kaya tried to pass through the crowd of players but the players didn't even budge to stop Kaya from passing through.
"Excuse me."
"I'm afraid we can't let you leave unless you accept our offer. Although you are quite amazing for being able to solo a Hell-mode dungeon and a mutant monster at that we all know the real thing that happened. You were helped by a powerful NPC."
"So what?"
"Well let's just say that you're still weak no matter how impressive you are. Don't worry we won't hurt you our guild Wind Rider will protect you from your enemies especially those who were obsessed with that bitch of an NPC."
"Are you talking about Marielle?"
"Yeah, that's the name of that bitch. So how about it? Do you accept our offer?"
Hearing him bad word the female that had shown kindness to him, he felt infuriated. Although Marielle was not real, her actions towards him were enough for him to believe she was real. Seeing their hands of Harold waiting for his response, he opened a smile.
"I refuse."
"If that's what you want then we'll just kill you until you submit to us."
The players immediately charged at him. Their evil intent spread towards Kaya which angered him more as he activated Monarch's Authority. His eyes glowed and so is his hands.
"Huh?"
"I can't move!"
"What the fuck is happening!?'
Before they knew it, all 30 players started floating in the air. They could still move their bodies but their clothing, armors, and weapons had all been constricted like they were wearing concrete clothes. They could not make it move no matter what.
"If this is how a guild works then leave me out of it."
Crunch!
He then pulled all of the players to one single pile and activated Crunch. Crunch made any equipment that Kaya touched mashed to rubber and with the players wearing this equipment, their entire body was crushed with it as everything about them turned to mush and a giant lump of guts and gore.

Various notifications appeared on his view as his name turned blood red. The reason why he was able to easily kill them despite their levels already reaching the hundredths was due to his strength far surpassing those of the level 100. Even if the player had enhanced their stage by 1 to a Regular awakener, it would only enhance their overall attribute by 20%, for Kaya who has nearly 400 points in Strength including the attribute increase from his exclusive class skills, he now had the power equal to a strength-based player of the level 150 or the basic attributes of a player in level 200. He was far too strong for his level. Harold who had watched the entire scene had his face flushed and turned as pale as snow.
He could only mutter a single word.
"Psychopath..."
Kaya pulled Harold towards him and then proceeded to choke him slowly as he broke the joints in his hands and arms stopping him from casting any skills. The bones on his joints protrude open from his skin as blood seeps through the cuts. He could only writhe in pain as his head turned red because blood couldn't pass through it. After a few more seconds, his futile struggle ended as his body turned lifeless. He threw his body on the ground and left a piece of equipment after disappearing and let the storage ring pick it including all the other items that the other players dropped.
'As expected, Monarch's Authority is overpowered! It can even enhance the effectivity of certain skills.'
Kaya couldn't help but admire his prowess that he had long forgotten the fact that he couldn't acquire any skills anymore. For now, he had to waste some time around since he couldn't enter the city due to his red name.
' Let's level up for now so I can place my Strength and Agility attributes to the 500 and 400 thresholds.'
Upon deciding on his destination, he immediately left. Meanwhile, back in the Wind Rider Guild mansion, their guild Leader, Jeremiah, a level 150 Bladed Berserker had suddenly lost contact with 30 of his subordinates including Harold. He immediately called Harold who had just logged in back after dying and immediately responded with a recorded clip.
"G-guild leader, I-i think we shouldn't m-mess with the guy....he's a powerful psychopath!"
When Jeremiah saw the clip, a dire look was etched on his face.
"I can't just let this off, Harold, call all the elders back because we'll be having a meeting."
"U-understood!"
