Chapter 1

So Sashi wanted all of us to write about things we have gone through and seen, which seems very strange that we are doing this, but honestly, it would be fun to look back at this. I'm supposed to write enough "chapters" to a specific point. We should also write this to our future self or someone we know. Eh, I'll write this to you, my daughter. Hopefully, I am writing this to you, and then when you read it, you won't get scared to have powers, and I will not put you under more pressure about having powers. But let's start with a summary of how everything got to the point of the mission I needed to do. There's me, then your three aunts, Eva, Debra, and Jacqueline. I will call Debra Chole for a time in the story, but remember that that's Debra. Anyways, we were the next generation of angels; well, gods, I don't know what we would even be, honestly. There's even Chris and Tyler, our friends from middle school. Chris and Tyler got their powers from training a lot with us and also with a shard of power. The shard was first used by Leona, who got the power of Void from it. Chris got the power of the sun, and Tyler got the power of electricity. For your aunts and me, the powers we got were also used by the shard, but they were weaker versions. Since Johnny and Claire were already gods, their genes were passed to us, but we still had to use the shard to ensure we got those powers. I got the power of flames, Eva got the power of...honestly, it was a mix somehow. She got void, bubble, healing, and ground shock. Jacqueline got the power of light, and Debra...well, that will be discussed later.

I will write about things that happened back then even more later, but there was a moment that changed me before that solo mission I did. A building was being attacked by a coming-up terrorist group. Everyone was surprised since, for years, everything had been peaceful, but now this group has shown up. They wanted to bring about darkness again. They were terrified of Leona and wanted to use darkness to stop her and stop us. I went in to try and rescue the hostages, but no one knew that the place was a trap. No one could save the hostage. The place blew up completely once I opened the door and went up the stairs. I was buried by all the rubble and couldn't see or move at all. I could hear people outside panicking to rescue me, but they were being held back by the police. Then I heard a familiar voice coming quickly, calling my name: Eva. She started clearing all the rubble off of me, and finally, I could see again but still couldn't move. Once fully uncovered, Eva stopped and looked at me in horror. She started crying and trying to heal me, which only healed a little bit. Everyone else showed up soon after and were all shocked as well, but then Eva got very pissed off and flew away. I didn't know at the time, but my left leg was completely gone, my right eye was stabbed out, and my right arm was fully broken. I passed out before I could even think anymore.

I woke up to a room in our house base that Jaqueline made for her science robot stuff. She just got done giving me a new arm. She told me to try to get up, but I was worried I would fall since this was all new to me. "Don't worry, you'll be fine, just stand on both your feet," she said confidently. I did, and once I did, the new arm and leg turned into a regular arm and leg with my skin on it. Even my right eye was working again, but that was replaced too. How did you do that? I asked. "It's a secret." She turned around smiling. I thanked her but felt so disappointed in myself for not being able to do anything. "You shouldn't feel disappointed about what happened," someone said as they entered the room. It was Sashi; Sashi was our new leader after Mom and Dad semi-retired. She had already been a leader of her wolf pack group since she was a wolf herself. Her sister Irene was also a wolf, but Irene decided not to join the group. She'll probably explain how the group came to be one day to you. "Also, your sister angrily killed the leader of that terrorist group, but she had some help," Sashi said. I was confused by who else would angrily run off and attack that group. "It was Leona; for some reason, she was going to the same location that Eva went to just to kill everyone there,' Sashi said. We already knew Leona wouldn't do something like this, but it was still weird that a group was trying to come up and get darkness under everyone's noises. Eva questioned Leona if she would even help her, and Leona stated, "You are not my target. I'll play a game. If you can fully convince me and fight everything I throw at you, then fight me, I'll stop everything and disappear. But if you don't, I will just do what I want. I want my life to be better; I want my family back; I want everyone to like me again, and I want to keep my powers, so if that means using darkness to rewind everything, then so be it," Eva said. Leona was saying this while crying. Eva hugged Leona, but something made her react. It was probably because she had never been hugged in so long. Leona said she was sorry for everything but also gave another warning. "Even though I'm collecting darkness, I'm only sending out monsters to attack you and maybe a team if I ever make one, but the more darkness I collect, the more a seal breaks on an old foe from the past. They will need to be taken care of quickly." Eva asked Leona how the seal would break anyway? "Cause I'm using my light as well. I'm not just only using darkness. I know my plan is confusing, even though I don't know fully what to do, but I just know I need light, but way more darkness, then everything will be better for all of us." Eva looked down but then back up and asked one last question. Will you kill anybody? "No. I won't kill anybody unless they are bad/evil. If darkness starts killing people, it's not me at all." Leona then left. Right now, we have so many questions. What does the rewind entirely do? What happens to the darkness she has if we do defeat her? What are these other people who are sealed away? Who could also have darkness that can be so bad it could kill non-evil people? So much that needs answers. Eva also brought a note to Irene, but Irene never told us what was on it since it was from Leona. Sashi told us to rest up since tomorrow was a training day for all of us, and she wanted to see how we were for the month. Knowing all this, I tried to sleep, but it was so hard. But I finally got some sleep to help for the next day.
