548 I'm So Proud Of You

Going home was incredibly depressing. Drew missed Mila already. He had been spoiled seeing her almost all day every day for nearly two months. 

He still had those weekend plans to look forward to though. They were all that was holding him together now. 

Everyone at the office was surprised to see him back and working overtime again after working mostly from home for so long. Most of them probably assumed that it was because of what happened with Jonathan and that the office was traumatic for him but that wasn't it. It was because he had to take care of the only person he cared about. 

Drew hadn't bothered hiring a new assistant while he was working from home but was on top of that as soon as he was back in the office. He had to be much more careful this time, even if he doubted anyone else was as terrible as Jonathan. A bad human indeed. Leo had been more right than he ever would have guessed.
