Sweetheart's Lunch Date
As I sat in the staffroom, the afternoon sun cast a warm glow through the windows, painting the room in a soft golden hue. The air was filled with a sense of accomplishment as I had just concluded my final lecture for the day, delivering knowledge and inspiration to my eager students. As I leaned back in my chair, my phone suddenly lit up, breaking the tranquil silence of the room.
A message appeared on the screen, bringing a smile to my face. "Hi! sweetheart!" it read. It was from Carl, my beloved. His words of endearment never failed to make my heart skip a beat. I quickly tapped on the keyboard, my fingers dancing across the screen as I replied, "Hey!"
