Side by side, we strolled through the grand gates, immersing ourselves in the majestic aura of the building's ground floor. The atmosphere down here always exuded a delightful cheerfulness. As the evening descended, a diverse congregation of boys, men, and even a few women had gathered in the lobby, engaging in casual chit-chats. Uncles delved into discussions about their elderly affairs, while young boys earnestly conversed about their studies. Amidst this lively scene, we made our way through, oblivious to the bustling activities around us.
Regrettably, I realized that I had left my keys behind in my apartment. Fleetingly, the idea of retrieving the spare keys crossed my mind, but I swiftly dismissed it, unwilling to consider it as my primary option. However, in the recesses of my thoughts, another notion gently nudged my consciousness, compelling me to favor it over the initial idea.
