20 Being hated

(You all can thank @TheUNKNOWN for this extra chapter. What should be his X-gene be?)

I walked into math and had to introduce myself. The teacher made all the students be quiet and I spoke up.

"My name is Eren Briar." I then walked off to a free seat. I looked around and saw an open seat by the window.

'The so called protagonist seat.'

I sat down and luckily the seat next to me wasn't taken. We then began a lesson on algebra. I was starting as a freshman and I already knew all of what they were talking about and I zoned it out.

"Matrix start on the receiver suit and go ahead and implement the nano-bytes with your signal." I said in a whisper only I could hear.

He didn't say anything, but I knew he did from my phone vibrating. I then remembered the whole reason I'm here.

"Also scan this building."

The phone vibrated again. I then just stared blankly at the board. It was so boring, I was already starting to regret taking this mission. My phone vibrated again.

'Maybe the results.' I thought.

....

My first for periods pasted and it was time to go to lunch. We left class and walked down a hall. Everyone was pushing someone and was rushing. I only moved slightly to dodge them. It basically looked like I was just walking normally and soon I reached the door to the cafeteria.

There was too many people and it was loud. I walked in and I could hear people whispering about me and some other guys.

I could hear boys talking shit about me and I wanted to drag them to an alleyway and mutilate them. I could control myself though, I was walking to get some lunch when I smelled some annoyance in the air.

'Not this person again.' I then just grabbed something and left without looking back.

"Hey neighbor!" Said a loud voice. It was squeaky and annoying. I didn't look back and just kept walking. I even sped up and she yelled again.

"EREN!!" It was Nora. I heard running in my direction and I heard whisperers of her being the schools angle.

I walked out of the cafeteria and dashed around a corner. I then went over to a room and closed it. I then put some ice in the lock so it stays closed till I open it.

"Matrix get me information on that Nora girl and her friends also, show me the results for the scan." I said and threw the salad I grabbed away.

I was in a biology room and it was nice and empty with no students around. I sat down and got my phone and looked at the pinged red dot on a 3D map of the school.

'The energy signal came from there.' I thought.

"Matrix."

"Thanks Matrix." I then began watching the videos.

Lunch had ended and I already have the information needed. I also got information on that Nora girl. She is a cheerleader with good grades and the perfect student.

She's nice, helps others and teachers. She seemed like the perfect angle. That's all a facade though.

'What a bunch of dumb people. They still don't know that she's acting to good to even be a human. She's just trying to act perfect.' I sighed and left out of the room to go to my fifth period.

My fifth period was surprisingly biology. When I opened the door the teacher was trying to open the door. Did I mention the teacher was Natasha.

"Why are you here before me?" She asked me.

"Annoying, creepy, and weird girl." I simply said. She nodded like she understood.

'People must be talking.' I thought and went to sit down. We didn't talk and instead decided to just read. Well I was reading and she seemed to be reading something on her phone.

Soon the class came pouring in and all the boys and some of the girls were giving me a glare that didn't mean shit.

I simply didn't care about them. I heard a faint sigh from Natasha and she started class. My seat was still empty and I was happy about that, but kept my stoic face.

The lesson started and if I didn't know this stuff already I would have been intrigued with the lesson. The students were focused on something else though.

They were looking at Natasha and practically drooling. Girls and boys alike.

'How do you turn people out just by being there?' I shook the thought off and talked with Matrix.

"Matrix could you analyze the energy source as send it to me. I also wanted to know if you can compile some designs for a Nero-link I can speak to you in my head." I whispered all this and my mouth didn't move that much.

Natasha took a glance at me and looked confused.

'There's no way she heard that.' I thought to myself. If she did I would be surprised, but that remains to be seen.

[Sit it send the energy source was a large amount of kinetic energy. I also have begun compiling some designs for the best performance and I've already sent it out to the drones at the apartment. They are making a 3D model as we speak.]

"Hm." I nodded and then closed my eyes.

....

*BAM*

Someone punched my desk and tried to run. I put my leg in the way and he fell face first into the concrete floor.

His head bounced back up a bit and it had a constant stream of blood flowing from his nose.

"MY NOSE!!! AHHHHH!!!" He screamed.

He was a nerd that, from my thinking was trying to get some laughs from the class. Even though I didn't mean to do that I didn't care about his situation and got up to leave.

The other students made way for me I was at the door when my name was called.

"Eren. Your staying behind." Natasha said. I looked back at the boy who had a broken nose and he was passed out.

'You don't scream with your head down when your nose is bleeding dumbass.' I just walked over him and back to my seat.

Some students gave me a glare and picked him up to go to the infirmary. I just got out my phone and started playing a game.

'They didn't even care about the guy before. Yet another reason humans are so damn insufferable in this and any other world.' I thought to myself.

...

"Eren, shield will handle any type of law suit or anything, but you'll have to have a statement to the principal." Natasha said from her desk.

I was still on my phone and the moment that accident happened I already had an excuse.

"I was sleep and felt a hard shake and loud noise, so I woke up and tried to run without much thought about my surroundings. When I stuck my foot out to run the kid that hit my desk to wake me up tripped while he tried to run off and resulted in him falling and breaking his nose." I said while still playing my game.

It was a good excuse, not my best, but this mission is technically over since I have all the info we need.

She sighed and dismissed me. I nodded and left the room. The rest of the day was annoying.

That creepy girl keeps calling me to like we know each other.

"Matrix what was her name again?"

[Nora sir.]

I nodded and started monologging again.

Like I said that Nora girl is a creep and I want nothing to do with her. I was walking home and since me and that Nora girl live next to each other, her and her group are right behind me.

I could fell the boys glaring at my back. I don't even remember their names. Hell I really forgot the other girls name as well.

I could hear them talking about dumb things I had no interest in so I took my phone out and turned some music all the way up and walked faster gaining some distance.

I reached my house before them and immediately went to the living room. Just as I turned the corner I felt the air distort and made some ice claws.

They were sharp and durable. I ran in and swung my right hand, but I flew through a portal and out another. I stabilized myself with a roll and looked up to see it was The Ancient One.

She had a smile on her face. I relaxed and sat on the couch.

"What are your terms?" I asked. She smiled more and raised an eyebrow.

"So, you will?" She asked calmly. I shook my head.

"No, it depends on the terms." I said stoically. She nodded and some tea appeared on my table. She also made chair appear in front of me.

"I want you to do some dimensional work for me. I would do it on my own, but there is too much I have to take care of as it is and going out to even more dimensions would cause some trouble for me."

"Are there not other magicians you can ask?"

"They aren't strong enough or innovative enough for this. Before you ask let me tell you why you are."

I nodded and she continued.

"I looked into the future and saw a glimpse of someone using my magic in strange ways. I thought that you might be a prodigy and would be strong if I taught you. I could have you occasionally helping me out."

'It doesn't sound to bad. The power to go to dimensions and most likely handle dimensional beings would be a big part of my arsenal and abilities. It would be dangerous, but this world is the definition of dangerous.'

"I accept. You must know that I'm "working" with shield, but I already have what all I need from them, so can quit any time. My schedule will be free."

"We will start tomorrow evening." She said. I nodded and then the world seemed to crack like it was about to break. It then shattered and she was gone.

'Since when?!?!' I thought.

'Magic will be my main focus.' I thought seriously.

I then went to go starve myself more after calming down.
