No. 2 Appears

After kissing Li Weiyin, Xu Yimo resembled a child that had stolen candy. He didn't know where to place his hands and his heart felt sweet, but he also felt like he had done something wrong. With his lips pressed together, he smiled, lowered his head, and refused to raise it again.

Li Weiyin slowly opened her eyes blankly and her finger fell subconsciously on the slightly moist spot on her cheek. The feeling of Xu Yimo's lips disappeared quickly like nothing had happened.

The kiss was innocent like the man sitting beside her.

He was so innocent that she couldn't help her heart from softening.

"Thank you, Yimo. I'm really happy today. I feel lucky to be your wife," Li Weiyin said sincerely as she held onto Xu Yimo's hand.

Xu Yimo was even happier than her. He lifted his gaze and saw Li Weiyin's smile. She was beautiful like a pink lotus blooming after the rain. All of a sudden, he held onto his chest and started looking uncomfortable.

"What's wrong?" Li Weiyin immediately asked with concern.

"Yinyin...it's beating really fast here and it feels uncomfortable..." Xu Yimo struggled.

His heart was racing out of control. Was he sick? Would Yinyin be disgusted by him?

A light flush of pink appeared on Li Weiyin's fair-skinned cheeks. Xu Yimo's serious struggling and fear made it hard for Li Weiyin to explain the situation to him. Did he understand that he was teasing her?

Taking a deep breath, Li Weiyin tried to calm herself down, "Go to the bathroom and take a few deep breaths. You should be fine after that."

"Really?" Xu Yimo rubbed his thumping chest.

"Go give it a try and you'll know. Have a bath as well and sleep early. We will go home after buying gifts for Mom and Auntie tomorrow," Li Weiyin said as she gently nudged Xu Yimo.

Xu Yimo carried a fresh set of clothes into the bathroom with slight doubt.

As Li Weiyin had just finished showering not long ago, the bathroom was still warm and steamy. Amidst the steam, Li Weiyin's light and refreshing floral fragrance lingered.

Xu Yimo couldn't help but take another breath. As Li Weiyin predicted, his heart slowly calmed down. He happily filled the bathtub and mumbled to himself, "Yinyin smells the best."

At that exact moment, Li Weiyin noticed that Xu Yimo had forgotten to close the door, so she went to close it for him and happened to hear him mumbling.

If these words came from a normal adult male, it would have sounded a bit frivolous. But, when it came from this innocent person, Li Weiyin didn't know whether to be angry or happy.

Li Weiyin dried her hair, applied some skincare, and decided to wait for Xu Yimo. But, due to Mrs. Xu's excellent teaching, he didn't just bathe but he also washed his underwear and daily items. Thus, he took some time.

In the end, Li Weiyin fell asleep waiting. In her sleepy state, she felt a pair of strong arms carry her firmly.

But, she simply flipped over to find a comfortable position and fell back asleep.

When she woke up in the morning, she heard the pleasant sound of birds tweeting. She slowly opened her eyes and suddenly grabbed the quilt in shock as she sat up, "Who are you?!"

At the foot of the bed, a man sat with his back to her as he adjusted the suit on his body. His figure looked familiar, but his clothes didn't. Meanwhile, his intimidating aura felt foreign and frightening.

The man lowered his head to fix the sleeves of his black suit in a noble and refined manner before he calmly glanced back to look at her.
