"Thank you, Mom," Li Weiyin could tell that Mrs. Xu was constantly considerate of her feelings. As she handed Angel to Yimo, she said, "Show Angel to its home."

It was getting late and she had to get started on cooking so she had no time to worry. Besides, she trusted that Mrs. Xu didn't prepare any old kennel for Angel.

After asking Xu Yazheng and Mrs. Xu about their preferences in taste, Li Weiyin quickly decided what to cook.

Garlic braised yellow croaker: a fragrant and delicious dish. Two yellow croakers placed side-by-side inside a white porcelain dish with green onions and garlic. After being braised, the sauce is appetizing and can be mixed with rice.

In the end, 6 dishes and 1 soup were served for 4 people. One particular dish, hawthorn cake, was made specifically for Xu Yimo.

Because of the addition of osmanthus sauce and alum powder, the color was purply-red and vibrant. It was delicate, the flavor was sour and sweet, and most importantly, it was good for digestion.

As expected, because the two meat dishes were made to be eaten with rice, Xu Yimo got indigestion and did not feel well. Li Weiyin fed him a few pieces of hawthorn cake, took him out to Angel's kennel, and after playing for a while, he felt better.

"Yinyin, this is great. I like you the most," Xu Yimo rested his head on Li Weiyin's shoulder.

After just one day of interaction, his heart was immediately won over by Li Weiyin. Children could never withstand the temptations of good food.

"While it's still early, get some sleep. You will be flying in the early morning. Sleeping on the plane is never as comfortable as sleeping at home," Mrs. Xu reminded gently.

They were flying to 'Emerald Island' at 3am; a place where getting divorced was illegal.

Li Weiyin had no objections. This was a guarantee for Xu Yimo, but also for herself.

Li Weiyin had not shared a bed since she was 4, so she wasn't used to it at first, but as Xu Yimo hugged her like a reliant child with a pure and happy smile, she naturally calmed down.

Xu Yimo fell asleep quickly and Li Weiyin, surprisingly, slept as well.

At 3am, they woke up drowsily and she helped the sleepy Xu Yimo onto the Xu Family's private jet.

After an 11-hour flight, they arrived at their destination in the morning.

Mrs. Xu sent Assistant Yang to accompany them and he arranged everything including their marriage registration. All they had to do was arrive at the designated location at the scheduled time and they would receive their marriage certificate.

After arranging everything, Assistant Yang took them around to enjoy the island for the day.

That night, after having a shower, Li Weiyin sat on the edge of the bed and dried her hair. Xu Yimo approached secretly with his hands behind his back, "Yinyin, close your eyes."

Li Weiyin obediently closed her eyes in a calm manner. Roughly 10 seconds later, Xu Yimo said, "Yinyin, open your eyes."

Li Weiyin opened her eyes and saw Xu Yimo with one knee on the ground, holding a diamond ring in front of her.

He pressed his lips together in a coy manner and said, "I asked Xiao Yang whether I should get a gift for Yinyin and he told me that every husband should buy a one-of-a-kind ring for their wife and propose to her. Yinyin, I want to propose to you. Will you marry me?"

The diamond ring sparkled under the lights. Perhaps, it was too dazzling, so Li Weiyin's vision began to get blurry.
