"Sakuya, I can fly 'ttebayo!"

It's been a month since Naruto and I had done our prank. Since then we have been more focused on training than pranking. We had just finished our training session, which included high-intensity exercise, and then chakra control. Naruto could now stand and walk on water, but now he was having trouble running. While I was practicing by running on the water while reading and had training weights on my legs. It was an all in one program. Boosting spiritual energy by reading, physical energy from running with weights, and control by running on the water while reading at the same time.

I was reading a novel called 'The Tale Of The Utterly Gutsy Shinobi.' A book about a man named 'Naruto' and written by the legendary sannin Jiraiya. I found it ironic that I was reading a book about Naruto while sitting by Naruto. I had the book propped up by chakra strings and turning pages with them. Call me lazy, but I call this training. I'm practicing chakra strings a lot nowadays in preparation for 'Chakra Arms'. Which are just huge chakra strings that were shaped like an arm.

I look over to see Naruto reading about elemental manipulation with a goofy grin on his face. He turned to me and had a devilish smirk. "Sakuya let's go find out our elemental affinity! We need to get some chakra paper." Before I could even reply he grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the house. He quickly paused and did his transformation technique, I just sighed and did it too. With us both turning into an ordinary-looking chunin that you could see anywhere around the village, we walked toward the nearest weapons store.

The bell rang as we walked into the store. It was one of the less popular stores, but I thought it had good wares, it was just missing out because of its location. I could see Naruto admiring the swords, but I made him wait until we were taller. Practicing a sword as a six-year-old would be really difficult and wouldn't help as much as practicing taijutsu. We walked over to the counter and a middle-aged man with shaggy brown hair, brown eyes, and a muscular build came out.

"Hello, we need two pieces of chakra paper," I said and his eyes narrowed slightly. He gestured for me to come forward, which I did. Before he punched me in the arm. Not expecting, I was hit and I quickly got into just a normal fighting stance, after all, Naruto and I hadn't found a style yet.

"Sorry 'bout that. Just needed to make sure you wasn't under a transformation technique. You've no clue how many genins try an' get their hands on these before they should." The shopkeeper said before waving his hand in a dismissing manner. I thanked whatever god let Naruto and I come up with the polymorph jutsu. But in my transformed state, I just waved it off and put my arms back down.

"Aight, that'll be 1000 Ryo a piece sir." I stood there blankly. 1000 Ryo my ass! It's a goddamn piece of paper! Sighing, I pulled out our wallet and gave him most of the money in it. Luckily our monthly staple would be coming soon and we could get by with the extra amount we had. Why is ninja stuff so goddamn expensive. We really need to replace our kunais and shurikens now that I thought about it. Ahhhh, damn it, how I envy those rich clans!

The shopkeeper collected my money while I cried inside, counted it up to make sure we didn't scam him, which I might have done with the polymorph jutsu and some extra paper if I was desperate, before opening a drawer to his left and pulling out two pieces of paper. They looked brought and were slightly browner compared to normal paper.

"Have a nice day." We heard from behind us. I was tempted to turn around and give him the finger. That was daylight robbery! But I gave up on it, at least I would finally know my elemental affinity. I looked over at Naruto who had been silent this whole time.

"Sorry Sakuya, didn't know it was that much 'ttebayo." He grinned sheepishly while scratching the back of his head. I just sighed and waved it off. We both hurried back home eager to find out our affinity.

In the living room, Naruto pulled out the book he was reading earlier and read the page out loud. "Alright, now that we have chakra paper we have to insert out chakra into it. There are five elemental affinities with an effect on the paper. While some people may have multiple, most have one or two at most. While the intensity of the effect shows how high your affinity is. But it is possible to use all the elements." Naruto read and I was slightly surprised by the last bit.

"Ah, so it's like an exp booster," Naruto said. I shook my head, he's been playing too many RPGs lately.

"If you have a fire affinity, the paper will catch fire and turn to ash. Wind will make the paper split in half. Lightning will wrinkle it. Earth will turn it to dirt and crumple it. And water affinity will make the paper wet." Naruto finished reading and we both took a paper each.

"Alright, I'll go first 'ttebayo!" Naruto held up his piece of paper and pushed his chakra into it. Instantly, I felt the wind in the room pick up, after that the paper in Naruto's hand was slashed into pieces. Wow, that's a really high win affinity.

"Woah!!! Sakuya, you see that! I have wind." I just nodded my head along with him. They said an average wind affinity was a split down the middle. That just obliterated the leaf.

"Hold on. If I have wind..." Naruto trailed off and I was suddenly curious. Almost all of Naruto's ideas were really stupid or genius.

"Sakuya, I can fly 'ttebayo!" I suddenly got the urge to punch him. Like this urge transverse multiverses. Ah, forget it. But I suddenly thought about it and my eyes widened in realization.

"Naruto, you're a genius!" I glomped him.

"Huh? What'd I say 'ttebayo, hey get off that hurts!" I got off Naruto and sat back down, before explaining my idea to him.

"Naruto, you can totally fly! Think about it, with a high enough wind manipulation you could make it lift you and control your direction. But you can also technically fly using almost all the elements. You could manipulate the moisture in the air and walk on it to 'fly.' You could blast yourself off with the fire element. You could control an earth platform to move around in mid-air. The only one I don't really know what to do with is lightning." I said and Naruto's grin turned mischievous.

"Ne, imagine how good our pranks would be if we could fly," Naruto said.

"Yeah, but the skills to do that would take years of practicing nature manipulation. So we need to find a way to speed up our practice. I'll look into this later, but for now, let's check my affinity." I held my piece of paper as we both watched in anticipation. I pushed my chakra into the paper and instantly everything felt drier. Before the paper practically exploded and everything in the room was drenched in water.

Naruto and I both started coughing out water. I still couldn't believe how high my water affinity was. I turned to see Naruto glaring at me.

"Sakuya, this is your fault. I'm not cleaning this ttebayo." He humphed and crossed his arm. I scowled at him.

"It was your idea to this." I glared at him. He just glared right back before sticking out his tongue.

"Yeah, with your scowling and water affinity you are like the second Hokage. While I'm the fourth, that means I'm cooler than you." He said and I felt a tick mark grow on my head. How was the fourth cooler than the second? Could he summon whole oceans? That's what I thought.

"What part of you is like the fourth, he was cool and you're stupid. Plus, the fourth used his speed and ran away, while the second overwhelmed his enemies with skill and water." Naruto gained a tick mark at that. We glared at each other as lightning sparked between our eyes. Before we both turned away at the same time.

"Besides, wind affinity is better than water affinity." Ah, so this cheeky brat wants the last word, does he?

"You know, Naruto, I'm sure the fourth was good at taijutsu too. How 'bout I help you with it." I say while cracking my fists. Naruto's eyes widen before he starts shaking his hands.

"Wait, Sakuya we can talk about this. How 'bout a compromise 'ttebayo. No, Sakuya stay away! AHHHHHH!" And so began our tortu- ah sorry, our training session.
