1 Chapter 1 - The graduation
30 March 2018 Singapore
Michelle and her classmates are busying queuing up to collect their Graduation gown. Cheng Dong just rushed over from his radio station to MBS convention centre.
"Hey! I heard of the famous DJ Song Cheng Dong is attending his girlfriend graduation tonight!? So anxious I heard he is very dashing!" Josie asked.
Michelle kept silence.
"How did you know about this!?" Michelle asked surprisingly.
"Oh! I heard gossips. But I often saw him fetching his girlfriend outside of the Uni in the past."
Josie replied.
"Are you able to see the girl?" Michelle asked
"Of course not! It's too faraway." Josie replied
Michelle smile to herself. Suddenly someone shouted from afar.....
"Michelle!" Cheng Dong shouted from far.
Lots of students stared at Cheng Dong and shouting his name.
"Wow! Song Cheng Dong! He is the one!"
Josie shouted happily.
Cheng Dong hugged Michelle and kissed her....
"Congratulations! Sweet heart. This is for you."
Cheng Dong said happily.
"Dong why are you here?! I thought you are doing night shift today?" Michelle asked.
"It's your big day! As your boyfriend and future hubby I sure attend! But I will go back to the radio station in half an hours time." Cheng Dong replied.
Cheng Dong walked off and stared at Michelle from a distance.
"Hey! You really know how to hide! So you always said your boyfriend fetch you home. So he is your boyfriend?! So envy!" Josie said loudly.
"Nothing much to envy." Michelle replied reluctantly.
"Why you sound so reluctant? Is he the boyfriend that you asked from the fortune teller in Macau last year?" Josie asked.
Michelle nodded.
"Oops! That bad! But Song Cheng Dong looks so charming he doesn't look he have anything wrong."
Josie said.
Jason pops in from behind...
"I doubt so I have seen him popping pills often when I was an intern in the radio station. He seems to have spilt personality." Jason replied.
"I am his girlfriend I definitely sure he is 100% healthy!" Michelle said angrily.
"Ooh..such a big reaction. Mind you he is a hot dude. You maybe only one of his hot chicks."
Jason replied
Josie uses her book to hit Jason hardly on his head...
"Jason ho mind your words!" Josie angrily said
"I am confident of Cheng Dong. Being his quiet character he do not have any other girlfriends and we have been together for a solid 7 years. It's only his health I am very concern." Michelle replied
After the graduation Cheng Dong is still at the convention centre waiting for Michelle.
"Why are you still here?! Don't you need to go to the radio station?!" Michelle asked anxiously
"It's still early I can fetch you all to the celebration party then after the party I fetch you home."
Cheng Dong replied
"You are not feeling well these days and yet you kept running up and down for me!"
Michelle said angrily
"Hey, relax Michelle. Well we just let Mr Song to send us to Mohammad sultan then he go to work. Anyway this is the first time we meet him."
Jason replied
Michelle kept silence and went into the front passenger seat.
"Wow! BMW! Mr song, do you have any Christian name? Or your name is song Cheng Dong? You are Chinese or korean?" Josie asked
"You can address me as Dong. I am a korean Chinese. I am a radio DJ and I do advertising as a model too." Cheng Dong replied
"Oh dear no wonder you look so stress and sick!"
Jason said loudly.
Upon hearing the word, "sick", Cheng Dong jam break at a traffic light junction. Michelle hold tight to his hands....
"Dear are you alright?!" Michelle asked worried
"I..I am fine." Cheng Dong replied
Cheng Dong feels uneasy.
"Ooh, seems I have hit someone's bullseye."
Jason said
At Mohamed sultan Harry's.
Cheng Dong park his car.
"What are you doing!? Please go to the station now!" Michelle said angrily.
"Ok, I will fetch you later." Cheng Dong replied
Thomas saw Michelle shouting at Cheng Dong from far. He saw Cheng Dong driving off and he walks over to Michelle.
"Hey, why are you not letting Dong to attend the farewell party? Why are you shouting at him?"
Thomas asked
"Well, he nearly followed me the whole day which is making me freaking mad! No privacy at all!"
Michelle replied
"Well he is your boyfriend does it matter?"
Thomas asked
"Well then let this stupid guy be! He doesn't even cares about his own health!!!"
Michelle said furiously
She went in to the pub with her friends.
Harry's pub
"Hey Cool down girl. He is the best boyfriend I ever see. Why are you so angry over it?"
Jason asked
"If this goes on everyday for 7 years will you go crazy!? Well he is handsome and dashing but he is too sticky! Nearly 24 hours with me!"
Michelle said angrily
"Wow, thats so sweet! If it's me, I will be so happy!"
Josie replied happily.
"Ay! Let's not talk about this. Cheers for our graduation and all the best to Michelle career in Hong Kong." Jason said loudly.
After two hours.
Michelle mobile phone started to rang. It's Cheng Dong sms.
-Dear, are you done? I am on the way to the pub. Just WhatsApp me let me know.- Cheng Dong
Josie saw Michelle looking at her sms.
"Hey your Prince Charming message you?"
Josie asked
"Hey me and Josie will be making a move."
Jason said
They walked out of the pub and saw Cheng Dong standing at a corner, drinking a can of coke.
"Dear! I am here!" Cheng Dong shouted.
Michelle went into the car.
"Dear you want to go for supper?" Cheng Dong asked
"Let's go to west coast park MacDonalds. I have something to discuss with you." Michelle said
At west coast park MacDonalds
"Here, your Apple pie and hot coffee." Cheng Dong said
"When will you stop serving me?" Michelle asked
Cheng Dong kept silence
"Every time I asked you something you will just keep silence. It just looks like I am the one who is nasty and bullying you! When will you stop doing this! It's so frustrating and worried seeing you do so much things for me! You are so sick yet you kept doing stupid things for me!! I do not want you to do this even when we are married! We need some privacy in our life! Even the job in Hong Kong you are also the one who helped me! When will you stop all these foolish things! I want to be independent! I want to achieve my dreams by myself!" Michelle replied loudly angrily
"Dear, I want to love you and protect you every moment till the day I die. No one can foresee when we will go I cherish every single moment with you. People may think I am stupid I am foolish. But when they ever encountered life and death like me they will not understand." Cheng Dong calmly replied
"Dong you are very different from the guy that I know seven years ago. Back then you are very lively and happy. But now you become so tensed up and you often go Hong Kong, Seoul and Singapore. What is going on? Can you share with me?" Michelle asked
"There is something I didn't tell you. When I first got to meet you back in 2011 in Hong Kong, I do have lots of girlfriends. But at the very first moment that I see you I knew it was you that will be forever in my heart. Although several times I propose to you, you rejected me, but I didn't feel upset. I know one fine day we will be together forever. In 2012 on the first week that I just met you, I was very sick. I even met with an accident which you took care of me. Since then I tell myself I can't live without you."
Cheng Dong replied with tears.
Upon looking at the sight of Cheng Dong, Michelle was touched to tears too.
