A Devil Named Devotion

When the most powerful mage in the world suddenly dies and leaves his inheritance spread across his journal pages, a mad dash to collect them erupts on the continent. One small issue: just before his death, that mage hid his journal pages in various locations, unknown to all. A young man, unconcerned with it all, suddenly has his life changed forever when he stumbles upon one of these pages and unlocks a power within himself he never knew he had.

Facing the Storm

"Ah! The sigil! I nearly forgot! It's a key of some sort, I know that! You have all three pieces, right?" Cobb asked.

"Three?" Devotion said. They only had two, when Leza was there.

"Yes, three! You, the girl with the ears, and that other fellow. The one that broods all the time, acts all tough." Cobb said.

"Holden?" Devotion asked. That was the only person that matched that description that Devotion could think of.

"Yes, him! Compare his with yours and the girl's!" Cobb said.

"Well, where did you last see him?" Devotion asked. He couldn't be too far, if the Mountain King had tattooed him recently. Otherwise, tracking down Holden would be near impossible. They didn't even know what sect he was part of, let alone what he was doing now.

"Oh, it's been quite some time. I don't remember. I'm sorry. I barely remember that I even did that, let alone where he was." Cobb apologized.

"Why did you tattoo someone not with us with the third piece?" Devotion asked.
