After Jenny's declaration for her goal of tonight, George cleared his throat and said, "Well before we get to partying, we should have all the things to celebrate out in the open. It seems that Sophia and I will be cutting in before you guys in terms of getting married." Ignoring the confused stares of their friends, George continued as he had Sophia's hand clasped tightly in his. " A few weeks ago we found out that Sophia is pregnant. We didn't want to say anything with everything that was going on back then and decided to wait till we were certain. But now that all is well again and Jenny caught up with us by finishing up her exams, it seemed like a good time to announce that we will be getting married next week."

Everyone in the private room went from shocked to ecstatic in a matter of seconds. The girls went over to touch Sophia's belly, where the guys patted George on the shoulder and put him in a playful choke hold. After the initial cheers and sounds of excitement the first questions came up. Wondering how she could ask about this without hurting her friends' feelings, Jenny tried to phrase her question in a way that held no judgement. "But how did this suddenly happen? Did you guys plan on getting pregnant or something? I hear that some people stop birth control and such in advance because it isn't easy to get pregnant after you stop taking the pill. Even without that, trying to get pregnant can take some time in some cases."

Sophia was a bit quiet during all of this, but George who understood what she was trying to do chuckled as he answered. "No, not at all. We were planning on having children after Sophia had finished her two year college, but this bugger managed to get through two types of birth control. So, we took it as a sign and decided to keep it. Since we are both already legally adults and have the means to hire help, we saw no reason to not go through with the pregnancy. Plus, we have our mothers, who are over the moon, to help us and we were planning on getting married after we both graduated anyways. So, we decided to just bring the wedding forward. Luckily we had everything planned out for August. All we needed to do now was bring change the date so that Sophia will still be able to fit in her wedding dress. Of course we couldn't get the venue we wanted for that date at such short notice, but that is okay. For now we will have a small wedding with just our closest relatives and friends. The reception will be held later for business partners and other guests. Next year we will give another wedding. The wedding we planned to have this year, which was supposed to be grand."

Jenny grabbed a hand of each of them and squeezed it tightly. "I am so excited for you guys. Starting your family so soon. I will forgive you guys for cutting line." She said with a wink. She took this time to take her turn to pat Sophia's stomach as she looked at it warm and loving eyes, before turning her gaze back to the two of them. "I am sure your babies will be adorable. How could they not be if those looks are combined. Your beautiful curls and those dimples. I can't wait to meet him or her." The others hitched onto those advanced compliments for their soon-to-be youngest member of the group. Shortly after the staff walked in with their drinks and snacks, giving them the chance to raise their glasses. Elizabeth gave the toast as she said, "To Sophia and George, our cutest couple and soon to be our cutest parents with what should be the cutest child. Cheers!" The others chimed in as they cheered, "To Sophia and George!"

The evening was one joyous event and was a perfect ending to a stressful and turbulent period. As they were in the car on their way back home, Jenny and Jason discussed the news of George and Sophia and that topic slowly led them to their own plans for the future. "It's crazy that in less than a year George and Sophia are going to be parents. They have been together the longest out of all of us, but I didn't think that children would be on any of our paths so quickly."

Jason looked at Jenny with mixed emotions as he said, "Yeah, I don't think they thought this would happen to them any time soon either. If I think about what happened when they were using two types of birth control, it makes me happy that we decided to wait before taking that step. Could you imagine getting pregnant during all this?"

"Yeah. I don't think that would be good for us nor for the baby, if we had a child now. We are both busy trying to figure out our own paths and reaching our own goals. I was barely ready to enter into a relationship. I don't think I am equipped to take care of another life. Having little James over for one day was already quite tiring. Imagine a newborn that depends on you for everything. I am impressed by how maturely Sophia and George are handling this."

Jason jokingly said, "Well, who knows, it might be our turn next. We had better be extra careful during these next few years. If double protection can't help us, we should consider triple birth control." As Jason was laughing at his own joke, Jenny turned a bit silent with a serious expression. His words had gotten Jenny thinking and since they had agreed not to keep anything bottle up inside anymore after she had come back, she decided to ask the question that had popped into her mind. "How would you actually feel if, after we got married, I ended up getting pregnant soon after the wedding?"
