Venting his anger

Finally she caught Jason's attention and he looked her in the eyes again. He stood up from the bed and walked up to her. The eyes that met her were anything but kind, so she braced herself for what was to follow. With an angered voice Jason spoke. He said to her "You want to talk, fine let's talk! Tell me, you were so focused on being a good friend, did you even stop to think for a moment if you were being a good fiance? Did you not think how I would feel if you would leave to go spend the afternoon with a bunch of random guys? Do you think they cared you didn't come there to find someone? It didn't stop them from trying to change your mind, did it? You didn't even tell me about your plans and turned off you phone. What would you do if things went bad? What if one of those guys forced themselves on you? Would you have the strength to fight them off? What if they had put something in your drink, hmm. Do you have any clue what was going through my mind while you were playing hostess and world's number one friend?! I was going crazy with worry. It isn't just your intentions that matter when you go on these things. Why do you think the expression "The road to hell is paved with good intentions" exists? Every minute that passed, another image of someone putting their hands on you crossed my mind. I was so angry I could kill each and every one of them. They are lucky they didn't put their hands on you, because I would have torn that very limb off their bodies before putting them in a body bag. Would you be able to face the consequences. Just because I usually let you get away with everything, does not mean I will never get angry at you. If you put yourself or our relationship in danger, you bet your ass I will get angry and if you dare do something like this again I will lock you up inside and never let you step a foot outside this house again!"

This time it was Jenny that was silenced. Her tears had stopped flowing as she looked at Jason's raging eyes with her shocked expression. She hadn't thought about these things at all. She didn't realize what she had put him through. Who would have thought his worries would go so far? It was after hearing these words that she truly understood Jason's anger. It wasn't caused by what had happened, but by what could have happened. Her brother's had always told her that men were wolves in sheep's clothing who were only out for one thing. Though she wasn't a weak girl, if one of them had decided to drug her, there would have been no way for her to protect herself. Other than Julia, who was with her, no one even knew where she was or who she was with. What lengths did Jason have to go through to find her as soon as he did. She got up, wiped her tears from her face and went over to the bed. She grabbed Jason's still clenched fist with both hands, making him relax, and she sat down with him on the edge of the bed. She looked him in the eyes and apologized once more. "You are right. I was being irresponsible. I am sorry. I promise I won't do something like this ever again in the future. However I cannot undo what I have done today. I am glad that nothing irreversible happened and if possible I want to put today's events in the past, where it belongs. So could you forgive this time." Jenny lowered her eyes for a moment, before batting her lashes towards Jason once more and saying in a slightly joking voice "If I do something stupid like this again, I give you permission to turn me into Rapunzel. Lock me up in the highest tower, so that only my prince can come to me."

Venting his anger had helped Jason to calm down and despite trying to keep a straight face, he couldn't help laugh at Jenny's stupid and inappropriate joke. How could she stay mad at this woman. She had him wrapped around her little finger. He tried to straighten his face again, put on a stern voice and said "Do you think this is the time for jokes?" Slowly his stern voice started shifting to a more playful one "Now that we are talking again, I think we should first establish if there is any disinfecting I should be doing. You said nothing happened, but are you sure no one was able to touch you anywhere." He grabbed her with both hands and placed her on his lap. "Not your pretty hair, not these rosy cheeks or these soft lips." As he spoke these words he placed a kiss on each of the things he described. He looked at Jenny, who was still quite flabbergasted over how quickly Jason switched from scolding her to trying to kiss her. He stared deeply in her eyes without doing anything other than wrapping his arms around her to prevent her from falling off or getting away.. before saying "I am ready now to receive those kisses you were trying to give me before." The corners of his lips curved up slightly, turning his entire expression into a teasing, cheeky one. Now it was her turn to let out a soft chuckle before giving into his request and referencing her second fairy tale of the day "Of course, your wish is my command!"

The second chapter of the day. Enjoy! For now I will continue writing, so expect another chapter later today.
