Unexpected guest

Jason was talking to Harry and George on the grounds in front of the school building when Jenny excited the school building. She walked towards them and reintroduced herself. "Hi, let me introduce myself again. My name is Jennifer Charlston. I am guessing you guys know what kind of relationship we have? If not, my little outburst on the rooftop should have given me away." She let out a small laugh recalling what had happened up there. The two guys who were a bit tensed up at seeing her walking towards them, felt relieve at the sight of her laughing and were also entranced by Jenny. Though they thought she was a pretty girl before, but only now, standing just inches away from her, could they see how charming she actually was. They weren't able to have a proper look before, because they were too preoccupied with the interaction between them and all the craziness that followed. During the other classes of the day, they mainly saw her from the side. Not daring to steal a glance for fear of getting caught by the prince of jealousy. Now that she was standing in front of them. Guards down. They felt it instantly. They thought she looked absolutely beautiful and her laugh felt like the sound of siren. Pulling them in. They were amazed at the change of image they had of her from the rooftop compared to now. They instantly understood what drew Jason to Jenny and also his need to warn them. At least they thought they did. Little did they know that Jenny's looks were simply considered a bonus by Jason. A bonus that gave him a hard time whenever he was around her. He constantly had to keep himself in check because he didn't want to break his promise to her nor scare her away, which was difficult to do with her tempting him every time they were together. It almost felt like she was doing it intentionally, only to find out she was just being herself. But most importantly he had to keep the people around her in check without giving Jenny the feeling he was suppressing her freedom. As the friends were talking to Jenny, they didn't notice that a pair of eyes was watching them from a distance. Who was this stranger looking at and was she looking with good intentions or bad?

After chatting for a brief moment, Jenny invited Harry and George along to Westwood mansion. "How about we continue this talk back at Westwood mansion? I am excited to finally meet some of Jason's friends and I want to get to know you guys a bit better. School isn't exactly ideal for that and Jason and I haven't got anything planned anyway. My in-laws are away on a business dinner, so you can even stay and eat with us." Jenny said with the best of intentions. "Sure! sounds fun" Both happily agreed, but they had to face Jason's icy glare from the moment they heard the question. He clearly wasn't ready to share her time yet, but this also gave them a chance to tease Jason. He wouldn't be able to do anything to them with Jenny present. So they flashed each other a evil grin to make sure they were both thinking the same thing and then proceeded to hog the entire conversation during the twenty minute car ride back to the mansion. Even with Jason sitting in between the guys and Jenny, they still managed to ignore him. Jason understood what they were up to and waited for the car ride to finish to give them a warning. "You go up Jen, we will be right behind you" Jason said with a smile and with a hand on one of their shoulders he held the two back. They exchanged another glance, but this time the looks on their face were that which expressed the words "Uh oh". Jason lowered his head and kept a forced smile on his face in case Jenny stepped back out. He increased the force with which he held their shoulders and spoke to them in a threatening whisper "I know you think I can't touch you with Jenny watching and you are right, but don't forget. She can't always be there to protect you." With these words he let go of the both of them and walked inside the house, never looking back and never changing his facial expression. Sending chills down the spines of his two close friends. Even after all these years they hadn't gotten used to the intimidating aura that guy possessed. They regained their composure and quickly headed inside the house before Jason would change his mind and close the door on them.

Once inside the mood lightened instantly and Jenny made them feel comfortable. Even Jason couldn't help but laugh when he was in Jenny's presence. Jenny took Jason into the kitchen to prepare snacks and drinks for their "guests". Though both Harry and George were surprised that the little young master was going to get the snacks himself, something they had never seen him, nor anyone in their circle for that matter, do. But they decided to simply enjoy the show. Jenny wanted to place some flowers on the table as well, so she went inside the garden while Jason was given the task of brewing some tea. As soon as she stepped outside, the doorbell went. Everyone was equally surprised. Who could this unexpected guest be?

This chapter leaves you hanging a bit, because there is a new character coming and an old foe. How will Jenny's first proper meeting with Jason's friend go? Who is behind the door? Is it the stranger from the school grounds or a familiar face.

Hopefully I will be able to reveal it tonight. For now I have got to run. Enjoy!
