Their plan

As Jenny and Jason's dance ended the guests clapped as if they had just put on a payed performance. They left the dance floor and went to greet the guests. Or at least they tried to, but the guests came to them before they had the chance to. They were surrounded by people wanting to congratulate them and wishing them well. They were showered in compliments and Harry was standing by the bar laughing at the sight of it all. He loved seeing Jason doing things he didn't like especially when he had no choice in the matter. Jenny was bound to bring him heaps of fun from the looks of it. Who would have thought that Jason Westwood, the Devil who tormented everyone from friend to foe, would spend the evening smiling and shaking hands with people. Most of whom he didn't even know. Sure the smile was forced, but it was more than his parents and these guests could ever wish for. He even went along with a dance, at center stage, for all to see. Despite it all he seemed happy. He was glad his friend finally found someone who made him feel like things like this are worth it. He grew silent as he thought about if he would ever be able to feel like that about someone and if he would be able to experience these awkward moments with that person. His eyes turned towards the entrance and he stared in that direction and his eyes grew when he saw a woman, who shouldn't be here, dressed in a beautiful green dress and black shoes and accessories standing there and staring in his direction. He was in shock and after some hesitation he turned his face away from her.

A few minutes ago, without anyone noticing, Julia had entered the party. She was looking around to find Jenny when in the corner of her eye she saw Harry. Her eyes subconsciously drawn to him and stuck to him like glue. Without moving an inch from the place she was standing, she stared at him. Her mind was filled with thoughts of how handsome he was and how dashing he looked in his suit. It had been a long time since she had seem him smile and laugh like that. How she wished she could enjoy it all while standing right next to him. To be able to call him her fiance and not receiving a dirty look from him, but the blissful look Jenny was probably receiving. To dance with him at this party, or any party for that matter, like the couples here. Suddenly Harry turned in her direction and she was startled. What should she do. Awkwardly she used her hand to brush her hair behind her ear as she looked away for a second and looked over again. She saw he was still looking in her direction with a look of surprise. It seemed she had come too early and Jenny had not been able to inform him yet. This was confirmed by him looking away, making her heart feel a sting. She slowly walked in his direction. Her heart was beating so loud that she was sure the people around her could hear it above the sound of the music. She was only a few feet away when she heard someone calling her name. It was Jenny who had spotted her and was hurrying over to where she was standing. Dragging an all too willing victim right behind her.

"Julia! You made it" Jenny said with a sheepish smile as she was looking back and forth between a unsuspecting Harry and an awkward Julia. She hadn't expected Julia to show up so early and with all the guests who jumped up to greet them, she hadn't been able to talk to either Jason or Harry about Julia. Well... she did have plenty of opportunities to talk to Jason, but she was afraid that he would disagree, so she decided to keep it to herself. So the piercing eyes she felt on the back of her head were well deserved. She would make it up to him later, for now she had bigger things to worry about. After a moment of silence she said "Uhm.. Harry I know you must be confused right now, but if you could come with me for a minute I can explain." Harry nodded and walked off in the direction of the exit without saying a single word. He was pissed and he felt betrayed, but judging by the look Jason was showing, he wasn't aware of what was happening either. So if he wanted answers, Jenny was his only lead and if he wanted to say what was on his mind it was better if they were alone. If Jason was there he would have to watch what he was saying and Harry felt like he wouldn't be able to do that right now. The moment Harry walked away, George walked towards the group with a look of surprise and innocence. Before he got there Jenny flashed Jason and Julia an apologetic look and let go of Jason's hand to follow after Harry. This caused George to be even more confused. "Julia? I didn't know you would be here as well. What is going on? Why are Jenny and Harry leaving?" While Jenny went over to where Harry was, Julia filled Jason and George in on their plan.
