The Golden Crown

After hearing all that Jenny had wanted to say, Jason thought about what the wisest decision was. Though his uncle wasn't a big threat, Jason was certain that he had connections to some of the more hidden players. Having his trust was a good thing. Something they shouldn't and couldn't pass up on. But the thought of sending Jenny to his side voluntarily was not sitting well with him at all. He went back and forth on his decision for a few days before he agreed to let Jenny take his uncle up on his offer. He told her not to worry about contacting him as he checked her phone for bugs everyday and he had his own software on it. So, the moment someone tried to break into it from the outside he would know and would be able to stop them or he could use that break-in attempt to hack into their device. Turning the breach into a double-edged sword that would help him find out the identity of the hacker and hopefully of a player that he didn't know of yet. Plus, that way they could make their act even more convincing as they could send deliberate messages that would make it seem that Jenny was betraying Jason. As they would never think that Jenny was smart enough to think that her phone had been hacked, let alone use it to her advantage, they would take those messages for the truth.

So, after she got the 'Ok' from Jason and after a few weeks of 'innocent' back and forth at the office when she came to visit Jason during lunch, she decided to take the uncle up on his offer. She figured she had earned enough trust with the uncle and he seemed infatuated with her flashy and revealing looks, now it was time to make use of her newfound connection. Using Stephen's business trip as an excuse. She sent the uncle a message telling her that her guard dogs would be leaving on a business trip and that if he managed to create enough work for Jason at the office, she could finally meet up with him if he was still interested. Jason's uncle took the bait almost immediately and told her to meet up with him at the Golden Crown room at his private club. He would be meeting some other important people later that evening but she could entertain herself at the bar till they finished discussing business and then they could make things a bit more 'interesting'.

The other reason that he wanted to meet up there was because that was one place he was certain Jason and his people could not enter without him finding out. It was a place that was swiped daily for bugs and was somewhere where they could talk and have fun without any worries. Though he didn't tell Jenny all of this, when Jenny sent his reply to Jason, he immediately knew why his uncle wanted to meet up there and called her right away. Telling Jenny that this was a perfect opportunity to gather information on the people that were working with him. If he was on his own territory, he would drop his guard a bit more and hopefully let out some names or details that would be useful to Jason and Stephen. He indeed hadn't been able to gather any information on what was going on in there. He had been in there a few times and when he did he would be searched thoroughly. Preventing him from placing a bug or camera there. Plus, the first two floors were a bar and a dance club. His meetings usually took place in the soundproof rooms on the third floor. A place that you couldn't enter casually. Since he was stupid enough to invite his wife over to that place and his very room, he would gladly make use of that stupidity.

While Jenny accepted the uncle's suggestion to meet up at the Golden Crown room, Jason discussed the developments with his father. He agreed that this was a good opportunity that they shouldn't pass up on and he gave Jason a bit of useful advice. He told him that Jenny needed to put the bug on the uncle. Stephen was certain that they would scan her but they wouldn't think of searching his body. So, she needed to make him pick her up. That way she could bug him during the car ride. That way they could make sure that they wouldn't be able to find anything on her. Later she could fake getting drunk when she was dismissed to the bar during their meeting. Allowing her to depend on him without it become suspicious or suggestive. Stephen told Jason that he had a certain drug that made you appear very drunk even if you hadn't had a drop of alcohol. "She could pretend she has a case of that Asian flush, which wouldn't be weird considering her heritage. With the right outfit, he wouldn't think twice about the reason she has come out to meet him, making it more believable that she hadn't intended to get drunk but her lack of experience had gotten the best of her. With an added call from you at the right time, she can leave without a single hair of her being touched."

After some careful consideration Jason too believed that was the best plan and let Jenny in on the plan. Two days later Stephen went on his planned business trip and Susan joined him as usual. Jenny's meet up with the uncle was scheduled for the next day. The three of them had everything planned out with before Stephen's departure but Stephen wouldn't be there to help them on the actual day. So, Jenny and Jason had thought out a plan for the preparations on the evening of the meet up to ensure that everything would be perfect and run smoothly for their first big 'Operation'. Making their final goal come more and more within reach.

Here is today's second chapter. I will be back here tomorrow with two new chapters!
