The first night (2)

"Who says I am calm? I was just trying to make things less awkward, by doing everything the way I would normally do them. I have promised you that I won't do anything to you and that is a promise I plan to keep, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy each others company. It doesn't mean we can't try to get a little closer, does it?" Jenny agreed with his words with a soft spoken "hmm". "If what you need for that is for me to cover up a bit more, then that is what I will do. How is this?" Jenny turns around in his embrace and sees he is wearing a simple white t-shirt over the shorts he was wearing. She smiles up at him as she rubs over his back with her hand and says "With this, we can at leas try." She stands on her tiptoes and gives him a kiss to express her thanks. With Jason's arm around her shoulder, they return to their room. As they enter the room, Jenny unfastens her robe and is reminded of her unsuitable sleep wear. She had pulled the halves of the robe back together with her arms as she saw that Jason wasn't looking in her direction.

He was standing by the balcony doors to open them up for some fresh air and a light breeze. Jenny's plan was to quickly get out of her robe and jump under the covers before he could see anything. How to deal with this from today onward was something she would think about tomorrow. However again her 'stealthy' moves were noticed by Jason who calmly said, without turning, "You do realize that this is a glass window right? I can see you sneaking around as well as that little dress you are wearing. If we didn't just have that talk, I would take this as giving me mixed signals." As he finished his words, he let out a low chuckle. Jenny didn't stop in her movements, but instead made a run for the bed and covered herself with the thin blankets. Jason laughs again as he gets into bed as well. He watches as Jenny is still being a bit anxious as she tries to maximize the distance between them in that bed. She was lying as far to the side as possible and had seemingly even placed one of the pillows in the middle of the bed to create a physical barrier between them.

Jason exhaled through his nose from amusement at her efforts, before throwing them out figuratively and literally. He grabbed the pillow and threw it off the bed, catching Jenny's attention. Despite Jenny turning over and asking him what he is doing, he doesn't respond and continues what he was doing. He is a man with a mission. In his mind all he saw was one barrier down, one to go. He rolls over on his stomach and used his long arms to reach over to Jenny's half of the bed. He wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her body over to his. Jenny tries to break free from his forced embrace and asks him what he is doing and to let her go. However Jason ignores her words and inhibits her movements as he snuggles close and holds onto her hands. Fixing them onto her stomach with his. Jenny's heart is beating loudly and her eyes were wide open as her ways to escape had been blocked. After a few more efforts to break free, she gave up her struggle and slowly calmed down. It wasn't long before she too was overpowered by sleep and dozed off.

The next morning she woke up from the light coming in through the opened balcony doors. She was still lying in Jason's embrace, who was deep asleep and still holding onto her as if he was afraid of waking up with her gone from the bed. Despite what she thought, the first night of sleeping in the same bed with Jason was quite comfortable. It seemed his calming effect on her wasn't limited to when they were awake. Once she had fallen asleep, she had been so peaceful and had slept very deep. Despite it being a shorter night than what she was used to, she felt well rested. She used the bit of free range her hands still had, to rub Jason's arms gently. Seeing that Jason was still sleeping, she decided to close her eyes for a little bit of extra shut eye. As she moved her back a bit to get more comfortable, she felt something from his lower side. Just because the owner was asleep, didn't mean his little friend was too. She froze in her movements and heard a low grumble coming from behind. It seemed her movements had woken Jason, who tightened his grip on her. "Stop moving about. Didn't you think your challenge for me was difficult enough? I am working hard to control myself, the least you can do is not make it harder for me." "He he he" was her only response, before closing her eyes and doing as he said.

Two hours later Jason had finally slept enough as well and woke up. He knew Jenny hadn't really fallen back asleep after their short talk this morning. He could tell from her breathing and he noticed the small movements of her feet. He woke her up from her light slumber as he placed a kiss on Jenny's shoulder and asked her if she had slept well. Jenny replied with a affirmative "Mm-hmm". She still wasn't looking him in the eyes after her embarrassing morning start. Knowing what she was concerned about he let out a low chuckle before forcing himself out of bed and heading towards the shower. Before he entered he said "Don't think that just because I have this type of reaction to us sleeping next to each other, it gives you an excuse to escape from that position during the upcoming nights. As long as you aren't the one who has to take care of it, you have no reason to reject being the little spoon of this relationship." Jenny felt caught and wondered if Jason had learned to read her mind, before she covered her face under the blankets to hide herself from her embarrassment. While he was in the shower, she hurried to get dressed. Aside from getting dressed she would use the time waiting for him to finish, to figure out if she needed to buy new pajamas or could improvise using what she had brought along, before a new night would break and she would find herself in his arms again.
