The confrontation

Jenny had startled everyone by her sudden appearance on the roof, including Jason. No one had ever called him by his full name, except for his parents back when he was a small kid. Apparently it was time for the confrontation of their problems from this morning. Jenny continued and would not let the looks of these three men intimidate her. First, she turned her fierce gaze to the two friends standing beside him "You two, scram. I need to talk to him in private. I will deal with you later" Despite her being small in posture and looking like a porcelain doll, they did not wait for her to ask twice. She exuded a certain intimidating aura and the look in her eyes carried a certain danger. The saying "if looks could kill" had to have been made for her. If she dared to yell at Jason, she had to be an impressive person. After they left, Jenny let Jason have it. Jason wondered what Jenny was thinking by coming up to the roof while he was in this state. Had she not been scared at all by his behavior before. He had lost it. She never ceased to amaze him with her lack of fear. In awe he was listening to what she had to say and boy did she have a scolding prepared for him. With her finger poking at his chest she yelled at him "How dare you take out our disagreements on innocent bystanders. Have you gone completely mad! And then you wonder why I wanted no one to know of our engagement. After all of this, who would still dare to be friends with me?!" Jason's head was filled with a mixture of fear and adoration. He could not help feel that Jenny looked a bit cute while trying to intimidate him, like the true feisty tiger that she was.

After saying this her tone calmed down and she leaned against the railing next to Jason. With her eyes lowered and a saddened expression she continued. "All I asked of you was to allow me to make an impression as myself on my classmates and not as your future wife. I wanted to try and make some friends before adding you into the mix. Otherwise they would either try to get close to me to try and get close to you or they would be walking on eggshells for fear that you would punish them if they did anything to hurt or offend me. I know I hurt you because I wasn't clear enough that hiding our engagement had nothing to do with me not caring about you, but everything to do with wanting to get somewhere on my own. I did not want anyone treating me differently. I am sorry for hurting your feelings and intentions, but that does not give you the right to go punching around as soon as you are upset with me. It is fine if you yell at me, ignore me and I will be there when you want to talk about it with me, but leave other people out of it. Otherwise I won't ever be able to have an argument with you ever again, because I would always be afraid that someone else would have to pay for it. Is that what you want?"

Jenny looked in Jason's direction hoping that he would finally look at her, willingly. After hearing this, Jason started feeling a bit guilty. He did everything with the best of intentions, but he had not asked for her opinion and had instead decided everything according to his preferences. He knew what it did to people once they found out you are from a powerful family. Even by association. So of all people he should have understood her wish to get to know people without the weight of the title "future mrs. Westwood". He should have understood that that was what she had meant when she asked for the engagement to be hidden. He never wanted to indirectly silence her. Her outspokenness was what he liked about her. This time it was his fault. Jason put his arm around Jenny, pulled her against his chest and placed a kiss on the top of her head while saying "I'm sorry" in a soft and gentle voice. The anger in his heart had completely disappeared and the only thing he felt now was regret that he wasted his first day at school ignoring Jenny. Jenny could finally sigh a breath of relieve. They had finally talked it out. "If only we had this talk back at home, now everyone knows somethings up. You jealous stubborn prince. You had better think of a way to fix this" Jenny said while giggling. That was all that she could do at this point, laugh at this crazy situation. They talked some more before they were interrupted by the school bell ringing to announce the end of the first period. "Oh my, did first period end already? We should head back before they become even more suspicious of me." Reluctantly he followed Jenny's, who was holding his hand and leading him towards the door, but suddenly he changed his mind. He used his hand to pull Jenny towards him and used his other hand to pull her face into a kiss.
