The beauty of nature

Jason signaled to the woman in the back and she seemed to know exactly what to do. She had left only for two minutes before a second pair of shoes could be heard coming from the hallway. The person who entered was a very serious and stylish person. With a strict expression he entered the room, looked Jenny up and down a few times before whispering a few words to the woman. She went over to one of the cabinets in the back and opened a glass window to retrieve a few items of jewelry and a few other accessories. He placed them on Jenny's body to see whether he liked it with the dress she had picked. He pulled a few unsatisfied looks and shook his head, before finding something he apparently liked. He tilted his brows and a short agreeing sound came from his mouth. As he gave the items he had picked to the assistant, he dropped down to the floor with a pincushion in hand. The man started to take in her dress as the woman started changing her jewelry.

Despite wearing high heals, Jenny was a petite girl, so there was no chance that these dresses would fit her without any alterations. Luckily Jason knew the designer, Paolo Santini. He had come here from Milan some twenty years ago and had personally designed his mother's wedding dress. Since then he had been responsible for designing all her evening wear. He had become a close friend of the family over the years as well as their personal designer and he had also designed the pink dress she initially had on. So it was only right for her to change into one of his designs as well. Despite some hesitation and light protest from Jenny, the both of them continued as if this was an everyday occurrence. He pinned, she clicked, he sowed, she unclasped. In no more than half an hour her outfit was complete. All that was left was her hair. The hairdo from before was picked for the type of dress she was wearing then. This was a slightly different design, making it unsuitable. Her hair was changed into a low side bun and a flower hair comb studded with different types of precious stones was used to set her hair and decorate it. The assistant adjusted her make up slightly and Jenny looked fabulous once more.

Jenny turned to Jason to show her new look in this deep dark green off the shoulder dress well suited to her skin tone and hair color. It had a split at the front that went up to the knee, that was hidden behind the overlapping sides of the dress and could only be seen with certain stances as the flowey material loved creating illusions. Her dress was matched with Swarovski studded silver shoes, silver clutch, diamond earrings and a high diamond necklace. It all was accompanied with the engagement ring she was wearing before and she was sure to steal the spotlight once more. Jenny had quite the eye for dresses, because out of all the dresses that were hanging there, she had picked the one dress that was a match with the one she was wearing before. Both of them had a sense of gentleness and softness about them and were flowey dresses. But where the first created an image of a fairy, this one felt like it embodied the beauty of nature itself. Hidden details and changes in materials made if feel like an untouched forest had entered into the city. It was only now, when the image was perfected, that Paolo spoke "My dear, you look exquisite. It is like the dress was made for you...Well I guess it kinda was!" He said as he broke into laughter after winking in Jason's direction. "If only you were a bit taller, I would have you model all my designs. They suit your frame so well it inspires me. You must promise me that you will allow me to personally design your wedding gown. I have only designed a wedding dress once before and I want the second time to be when I design yours." As Paolo continued talking, Jenny turned around to look at Jason as well to try and understand what Paolo had meant. Unfortunately for her, his expression hadn't changed at all, making it impossible to know what he was thinking. It seemed that Paolo was hinting at him being the personal designer for the Westwood family and she would soon become a member of that family. Therefore all of his designs were basically partially hers as well!

Being unable to read anything from Jason's expression, she decided to pay it no mind and thanked both Paolo as well as his assistant Jeanine for coming here at night especially for her, his beautiful dress and for his compliments. Now that the dress problem had been taken care of, it was time for them to leave and join there friends at party number two. As they were getting ready to leave, Jenny glanced towards the dress that had been tainted with a sad expression and let her hand slide over the material one last time, before handing it to Paolo to safe keep along with the jewelry she originally had on. Her actions didn't go unnoticed by Jason nor by Paolo himself. Neither of them spoke a word, but both seemed to have the same thing in mind. Jason helped Jenny put her coat back on to shield her from the night's cold and placed his hand on her back to escort her back to the car. Paolo looked in their direction as they left and the assistant was already standing by the door to let them out. Before they walked through the door, Jason looked back over his shoulder in Paolo's direction. It took one look to one another and to the dress in his hand, for Paolo to understand what Jason wanted him to do. He gave him a nod to confirm and Jason turned his head back to the front. However this request was unnecessary as he was already planning to do what Jason had wordlessly asked him. As the duo left the building and the doors were locked once more, Paolo started working and would be doing so until deep into the night!

As promised another chapter. The moment for their trip is coming closer and will certainly be the topic of one of the chapters I will publish this weekend.

So enjoy for now and look forward to the next time I publish, which will be Saturday!
