The bad guy

"You stupid foolish prince! Just because I didn't give you enough attention you decide to do something like- like that!" Jenny's face flushed instantly when she thought about what had happened, but she continued what she had to say "When you knew I still had to say goodbye to your parents." "Something like that? Whatever do you mean? What is it that I did according to you?" Jason blinked excessively, tilted his head, raised his eyebrows and even put one of his hands in front of his mouth to express his faked shock. "If you aren't clear then I won't know what you are talking about" Pak! Another slipper got thrown in his direction and landed on its target. "You still have the guts to joke about it! What must your parents be thinking?! They probably figured out what had happened. Do you have any idea how embarrassing that was?! I wanted to dig a hole and hide under the ground. I had to stand there and pretend nothing was wrong." Jenny covered her face with her hands and shook it to hide her embarrassment.

Jason couldn't hold in his laughter as he stepped closer and hugged Jenny's entire body and pressed her to his chest. He stroked her head to sooth her as he said reassuring words. "I am sure it will be fine. They have done plenty of things back in their day and I am sure they do plenty now. If you respond like this to "something like that -"" As he said those words he loosened his hands to make air-quotes and tried to hide his smirk. "- then what will you do when our relationship progresses even further? Besides, I know that despite how you are behaving right now, you too liked it, right? So if you want to repeat it, you are going to have to accept that it will come at a certain risk" Jason said with a mischievous look on his face and a voice to match. Jenny pushed Jason away and was ready to rebuttal. "Who liked your kiss, huh?! Could that even be called a kiss, it felt more like an attack on my life! Hmph"

'Oh is she going to try and hide it? Not this time', Jason thought. He grabbed Jenny by the waist and pulled her close again, causing her face to flush over once more and brought on a shocked expression to her face. "Well if you didn't like it, why didn't you push me away or kick me? I believe you also kissed me back. If that isn't a sign of consent, then what is hmm? You were even making certain sounds..." This caused Jenny's embarrassment to go into overdrive and she balled her hands into fist and started pounding them on Jason's chest. "You brute! Let go of me" Jason couldn't help but smile and said, "Yes, yes. I am the bad guy. I don't mind being a bad guy for you any day of the week." As he said this he placed a hand on Jenny's face and pulled her in for another kiss. This time he wasn't met with any protest and they spent the rest of the night in each other's embrace.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next day everyone pretended nothing had happened and they had seen and heard nothing the day before. They all met in the living room to plan out the details for Jenny and Jason's engagement party next week. Though Susan had taken care of everything, she wanted to run some things by them before making them final. She also needed their input on the guest list, mainly with regards to who they wanted to invite besides the people Susan had already invited. Finally, she also needed Jenny to go and pick out a dress. She had to be the center of attention that night, so she should find a dress to match it. While Jenny was against spending money an expensive new dress at first, after giving in to the protests of her mother-in-law, she got excited. Not necessarily because she got to buy a fancy dress, but because she could finally wear her engagement ring as an engagement ring instead of a necklace. Since the cat was practically out of the bag at school, she might as well rip the band aid off completely and let everyone know the entire truth.
Though right now there were many speculations, they remained just that. No one had the nerve to ask Jason directly and considering what had happened to Elizabeth, no one dared to ask Jenny either for fear that it would somehow strike a wrong nerve with her and earn them the wrath of Jason. Plus, her being able to contain him might indicate that she too was no ordinary unknown girl and that she might have a trick up her sleeve. You should let sleeping lions lie, had become their motto. So they were forced to settle for the rumors, but after next week the rumors would be joined by facts. This was because some of the fellow students were on the guest list as well, along with their parents, and they would be sure to fill the rest in Jenny assumed. So what was the point of not trying to enjoy this party and the amazing gift she had gotten from Jason some time ago. You see, Jenny was really fond of the set Jason had custom made for her, but she never found an appropriate occasion to wear it. Till now she had even worn her engagement ring once or twice. At this party everyone was to come dressed up, so it wouldn't be weird for her to wear something like that. Especially after seeing what her mother-in-law was going to wear. That dress was stunning. With her air of elegance she was sure to look like a queen, so she shouldn't look like anything less than a princess!
Finally I have time to write something again. I planned to do it earlier this week, but my mom got sick with the flu and I was working hard to take care of her, go to work and keep up with my school work ? I hope you guys haven't been become victims of the flu this year, stay strong and healthy ?. This is all I can publish for today, a happy and light chapter. Next chapter we will continue with what is happening in school a bit. For now enjoy and till next time!
