The background check

Stephen's business trip lasted for two more days, so before they were leaving the Netherlands for Susan had to make sure everything was taken care of. She quickly returned to their hotel room and told Stephen everything she had discovered about their potential daughter-in-law. She goes by the name Jennifer, because her real name originated from her motherland and was difficult to pronounce for the Dutch people. Especially for the older generation, who she worked with 4 days a week. She was a sophomore at a local high school and was the same age as Jason. She had three brother's who all went to the same school as where Jenny was attending now. Although her lunch companions could not tell her much, that which she found out and that which she saw with her own eyes pleased Susan a lot! Stephan's chestnut brown eyes looked endearingly at his wife and he felt relieve as he heard the excitement in his wife's voice. It looked like he had only one option left and that was to get aboard his wife's plan or be left behind, because this was going to happen regardless of any complaints he might have. Not that he had any, based on the information he had heard so far.

After the background check results came in the next day, their decision was confirmed once more. Jenny seemed to poses all that they were looking for. The report revealed that unlike the school system in England, in the Netherlands students were separated by learning ability early on in their education. As soon as they attend high school, they are divided into classes according to their test results and recommendations from primary school. All siblings were intelligent and attended the highest level of education available in the Netherlands. She was raised by a single mother after her father had passed away. Because the mother was an immigrant and was relatively "old" when she came to the Netherlands from her home country, she could only get menial jobs and her degrees were reduced to nothing. To help their mother out in the living expenses, all children had jobs on the weekends. Jenny spent the rest of her free time studying and helping out in a home for the elderly. This all showed that she was a hard working person who had a lot of love to give.

The assurance that she could handle Jason, came from her academics and private life. She was not only accepted at the highest level of education, but she also had a double "major" and almost a triple "major". The technical subjects which allowed her to obtain a double major, were predominately attended by male students. These were boys in puberty and from all kinds of backgrounds, misbehaving whenever they could. The teachers had given up hope and tried to reduce the chaos by centering the men around the few female students that took those courses. Where most female students were overwhelmed by the behavior of the men, Jenny managed to keep the men in her group in check and even helped them study the materials. Not only did she keep her own group in check, she helped a few of the other girls in surrounding groups with their misbehaving men. Being the only girl in her family, the three brothers were very protective of her. To make sure that she could protect herself if they were not around, they taught her self defense in all forms. From defense by disarming to defense in the form of a strong offense.

Susan could wait no longer and went to the elderly home where Jenny worked. She wanted to bring her home as soon as possible and give that uncontrollable son of hers a surprise. The moment she entered the home, she spotted Jenny pouring coffee for a few of the residents. Susan approached her Jenny in a matter of seconds and asked if she could spare a minute for her. "Oh, the lady from the lunchroom. Of course I have time for you! You helped me out greatly by accompanying our English speaking residents, how could I possibly say no to you. Give me five minutes to finish my round and I will meet you in the lounge."
