That doesn't mean I like it

James accompanied Jenny all day and was spoiled rotten by her. Though she wasn't one to spend a lot of money usually, she loved spending it on him. He got all kinds of snacks, toys, and rides. After that he got to join Jenny for a parfait as she met up with the girls to catch up. Here he was loved by everyone. Being adorable as he was, they all struggled to part with him when it was time for them to go back home. He got an invite to join them again next time, which he gladly accepted as it was another chance to visit his beloved sister Jenny. He wasn't old enough to second guess whether that was a genuine invite or not. With him being there, the girls were too caught up with asking him questions and gushing over him, that they didn't get the chance to do the catching up they planned to do. That would have to wait for another day, but they didn't mind as they welcomed any excuse to hang out more.

After almost six hours, Jenny and James returned to the house. It was almost dinner time and by now Jason's parents were back as well. They greeted Jenny and welcomed James, "Well hello. You must be James. Nice to meet you. I am Jason's father." Susan did the same as she too fell in love with the boy's cuteness. With everyone on the boy's side except Jason, the following invite came as no surprise and was extended before Jason could stop it as he was still upstairs when it happened. "Well James, will you be joining us for dinner?" James looked at Jenny for permission and Jenny nodded to let him know it was okay. The boy turned back to Susan with a big smile and he replied, "Yes please!" Causing everyone to laugh at his enthusiastic reaction.

Hearing the commotion Jason came down and the first thing he did was glare at James. Seeing that the boy was still being carried by Jenny, made Jason upset. Not necessarily because he was being carried, but because of where the boy had placed his hands. In Jason's mind the boy clearly knew where he was placing his hands and it was at a place he hadn't even touched. He could tell that Jenny wasn't even aware. Probably because James was "just" a little boy, Jenny had completely let her guard down and probably hadn't even noticed. James had his hand resting where he would place his hands on his mother as well, which was a very natural and comforting place for young children from their breast-feeding years. He had one hand at the back of her neck and the other was resting just above her breasts. Of course, for James that touch didn't have the same meaning as it would have for Jason, but that didn't stop Jason from not liking James having his hands there.

Jason walked down the stairs with a forced smile on his face, through his gritted teeth he said, "Take your hands off her chest you little perv." Startled by the look on his face, the boy quickly shifted his hands. "Ah Jason stop scaring the boy" Susan said in James's defence. "Yeah Jace, he is just a kid. He doesn't mean anything by it, and you know it." Jason didn't bat an eye when he said, "That doesn't mean I like it." Jenny and Susan sighed and shook their heads and Stephan couldn't help but chuckle at his son's jealousy, because he knew where he had gotten that jealousy from. Back in his day he even didn't like Jason clinging to his wife, and he imagined his son wouldn't be much better with his future grandchildren, maybe even worse.

Once Jason reached the others, he greeted them all before turning his focus on James. He looked towards Jenny and asked "Have you been carrying him all day? Aren't you tired yet? Why don't you let me carry him for a while? He must be heavy." But before Jenny had a chance to accept or reject his offer the boy did it for her. "No! I don't want to be carried by you." he said as he hid his face in Jenny's neck. Jenny sighed lightly as she calmed the now glaring Jason "It's fine Jace. He is used to me carrying him. Maybe once he gets more used to you, he will let you carry him as well. Right James?" James didn't confirm nor deny and continued to hide from Jason's glare. Jason let it go and sighed as well as he headed into the living room. Fully annoyed he mumbled to himself "Why is that bratty kid stuck to her like a piece of gum? I should have thrown him out when I had the chance."

Seeing that him being close was the perfect way for him to get back at Jason for his comments from before, James decided to cling on Jenny even more as they went to the dining room. He sat on Jenny's lap all throughout dinner and had her feed him. Seeing the anger, it was causing Jason, he took it up another notch and hugged her every chance he got. By the time dinner was done he even started placing kisses on Jenny's cheek and once his kiss almost landed on Jenny's lips, causing Jason to fume. "Hey, watch it little boy." He said as he got up from his seat and walked towards him and Jenny. "I think you have spent enough time with her. It is time for you and me to bond." With that excuse he pulled the boy away from Jenny, making him try to escape from his grasp. Jenny chuckled but didn't help the boy as she said "James, he is right. You guys should try to get along. If you want to be my little brother, you have to be able to get along with my future husband, right?" Having no way to argue with that and not wanting to disappoint Jenny, the boy gave up and let Jason carry him.
