Stretching out the suspense

The students that were taking the test today were all hoping to get into the renowned Mountforth University and its specialized med program in particular. Though, unlike the high school, it wasn't built on top of a hill, it carried the name to make its affiliation clear. Anything that was connected to the Westwoods was guaranteed to be of a certain quality. No matter if it was technology, education, clothes or anything else, as long as they put their stamp of approval was on it, it was sure to be worth the money. Though studying at the University wasn't cheap, it was provided with housing and the best teachers. They made sure that each class was given at least twice a week, to allow you to adjust your schedule to other classes you might be taking. The program that Nick was going to join provided even more freedom as his would be taped and would be given based on when the majority of students could attend and at least four times each period. Making sure that they would be able to attend all classes they were interested in, whenever it suited them best and without posing a problem with any business activities they had to participate in.

Since it was so accommodating, while maintaining quality, these programs and the University itself were very popular. The elite Universities that are known all over the world offer quality, but hardly provide any flexibility nor any individual guidance. Mountforth University ensured the same quality that it provided at its high school, meaning it had very limited number of students and small classes. That way each individual would be ensured top quality teaching and not just those who could catch up to the pace. These Universities are great for those who have the skills but not the speed or those who have a lot of side activities that require their time and attention aside from their classes. Which is the case for many people in their circles.

The time for the test passed by in the blink of an eye and before Jenny knew it she had answered the final question and the teacher asked everyone to put down their pens. She let out a sigh of relief as she felt that the test had gone well and because she was glad it was over with. Tests were passed to the students in the front row, who then handed them to the examiners. After they tests had been handed over they were all allowed to get up and leave their seats. When she stepped out of the room, she found Jason waiting for her across from the door. Leaning against the wall and looking at her with a smile on his face, just as he used to wait for her after class. She walked over the short distance to him and put her arms around him as she went in for another soothing and warm hug. "I take it that the test went well?" Jenny didn't respond with words and instead just nodded, rubbing her face against his chest in the process. "I knew you would do well. Now all we need to do is wait for the results to come out. Until then, you have plenty to keep you occupied as we have a wedding and a very enjoyable honeymoon planned." Jenny looked up as she laughed at his words and nodded once more, before they headed out for lunch.

Once they had both had something to eat, Jason headed over to the office and Jenny went ahead to the house in the city to spend some time with her family. After he got his work in the office done, Jason headed there as well and after enjoying their dinner and chatting a bit they went towards the hotel where most of Jenny's friends and family had already checked in. When they arrived and went upstairs to the top suits that had been reserved for the two of them, Jason revealed that he had another surprise waiting for her in her room. "Another surprise? The entire wedding is already a surprise for me, what more could you have prepared?" Jenny asked him with a chuckle, but Jason was tight lipped. "You'll have to see for yourself. Once you see the first part, I will reveal the rest." Jenny became very curious to what it was that Jason had prepared for her, so once they reached their floor, she walked towards her room with a steadfast pace and quickly opened the door as she contained her excitement. When she walked into the room and turned the lights on, she saw that at the corner of the room there was not one clothing bag hanging on a clothing rail, but two...

She turned around with a bewildered look and looked at Jason for answers. Jason, who had just reached the entrance of her room, returned her look with a warm smile and walked over to her slowly. Each second feeling like they were being played out in slow motion in the eyes of the impatient Jenny. She had hurried over herself, but was now still made to wait but Jason who was enjoying stretching out the suspense and her suffering. When he was close enough for her to grab him, she pulled him over by his shirt and asked, "Why are there two dresses Jason? Didn't Paolo make me a customized one? Did something happen to it or something?" Jason chuckled. "If that were the case, would I really call it a surprise?" He asked as his brow lifted to get his questioning tone across even more clearly, calling her a 'silly woman' with every fiber of his being except for the words coming out of his mouth. "Enough dawdling. Tell me what is in the other bag. Don't you know you shouldn't tease a bride so close before her wedding? You might end up in a bag instead if you don't watch out." Jenny told him with fierce looking eyes and while pulling him down using his tie. She needed to do this to make him lower himself and make the difference in height between them less. This was the only way that allowed Jenny to get her intimidation attempt across, something which lacked conviction if she was too far apart from him.
