Spoiled little princess

The doctor was a young handsome man, who had probably just finished his specialization or was still completing it. But he was amazing. His lack of experience didn't show at all in his skill and work ethic as he knew the ailments of each of the fifty people under his care and was able to feel their problems even when they themselves couldn't express it clearly. Right now she was standing face to face with this amazing man after asking him "I feel that your behavior towards me is a lot colder than the others and since we just met today I want to know, is there a reason you don't like me?". Jenny was working hard not to break eye contact with his cold, harsh eyes. Luckily Jason had an even meaner stare than the doctor, so she could handle a bit of coldness, but it wasn't exactly pleasant.

He scoffed, "Well at least you aren't dense, if you were able to notice my behavior. And you are right, I don't like you. Or better said, your kind. You aren't the first spoiled little princess, that asked their mommy or daddy for a job that would look good on college applications. They would come play around and would give up the moment they had enough pictures for their social media or when they realized how hard the work at a nursing home is, even just being an assistant. Those were the better ones, because the worse ones would distract me from my work with their one sided crushes. Trying to have me notice them in the most stupid of ways, having no care for the danger they are creating for the residents. So forgive me for not feeling of playing nice after the umpteenth time. I have no intention of wasting my time or energy training someone and getting to know someone who won't even be here in a weeks time."

Instead of feeling hurt or protesting Jenny said with determined eyes, "Very well, I understand. If you want to think that way, then I will simply have to prove you that I am not like those girls. So, if I am still here on next Monday, can you promise to let some of your animosity go?"

Though slightly startled by her reply, he quickly straightened his face before replying, "IF you are here by next Monday, I will reconsider the way I treat you." The doctor who was convinced Jenny wouldn't even last till the end of this week, let alone next week, gladly accepted Jenny's deal with a condescending and doubtful look. His doubt and arrogance stemmed from seeing how much she was struggling today and how weak looking she was, not knowing she backed her petite frame with a whole heap of determination and persistence. Now that she had a goal to reach, Jenny went back to her desk to finish what she started.

At the same time Jason was talking with Nick and the others about what he should do. Nick said, "Well if it were me, I would not risk him making a move on your girl and send him a message. If you don't want to act on the information yet, you can always show him so that he knows what you could do to him to make him keep his distance or think twice before getting close to Jenny."

Harry had a harsher approach. He imagined what he would do if it were Julia who had such an annoying fly around her who didn't know when to give up and was behaving suspiciously, he certainly wouldn't hold back. So he said, "Jason, screw that guy. You have been very lenient of him and Jenny already made herself clear to him. If he still insists on having inappropriate thoughts about her, it is your job to stop him before things get messy. Give him one harsh blow, be it physically or mentally, and make him back off. If Jenny catches you or he tells on you, then you will deal with that matter then."

George as always was the kinder one of them all, but even he didn't think Jason should take things lying down. But he had very different reasons for it. "Jason the way I look at it is that his father involving himself in illegal trading is not your fault. You throwing out your stocks of their company is what they had coming. Otherwise it would be waiting before you yourself would get harmed when they are inevitably caught. If your guy could find this information so quickly, they must not be hiding it well. So, sooner or later someone will find out and try to use it against them, even if it isn't you. That it sends the guy a message is an added bonus. That way even if Jenny catches you, you have a reasonable explanation aside from your personal beef with him."

Hearing all three of his close friends be against doing nothing and he himself being unwilling to do nothing as well, made it clear for Jason what he should do. Though all those plans seemed tempting, George's plan seemed the only one with a proper escape. Though what they all failed to take into account is that a person run by emotions isn't open for reason. So whatever good reasons they were thinking of for Jason to tell Jenny, she would have to be willing to listen to them and she would have to believe these well crafted reasons. Whether she will do that or not, still stands to be determined.

Here we are with today's chapter, Jason is treading on a dangerous path and Jenny is working hard to gain approval of her new supervisor. Tomorrow we will continue where we left off, but for now I wish you all a good evening and a pre-good night.

Let me know in the comments what you think Jason should do.

My thanks today goes to Humaira_Jarjisa for her support in the comment section.
