Sound asleep

The week went by quickly and both Jenny and Jason were glad that they had decided to spend this time with Jenny's family. For Jason it was his chance to gain her brothers' approval and Jenny was able to cling onto her mom, who she tended to miss the most. Though none of their time was spent romantically, they got closer during this week in a different way. The week had been exhausting and yet rewarding. Everyday, right after school, they went straight to the city and they would chat and play games with everyone well into the night before waking up early the next day to go to school. The little "free" time they had, was spent doing home work. Luckily all the sightseeing was done during the day, so they didn't have entertain them in that way. Except for an occasional dinner, they had spent most of the time in the house. However, the lack of sleep and rest had taken it's toll, making them plop down on the sofa the moment they arrived back at Westwood mansion after sending off Jenny's family. Before they knew it, they had fallen asleep.

When Susan and Stephan came home that day, they found them sound asleep. Jenny had moved closer to Jason in her sleep so that she could steel some of Jason's body heat, placing her head on his chest and he had wrapped his arm around her. Susan thought they looked so sweet together, that she didn't dare to make a sound, much less wake them. She asked one of the helpers to get her a blanket, before gently placing it over them. She looked at them with an expression of joy for short moment, before Stephen wrapped his arm around her and signaled that it was time for them to leave. They returned to their own wing and left them in their little bubble. It was midnight when Jason started waking up. He looked down to find a petite creature hugging him closely like a koala bear. She was frowning and shivering slightly, because she was feeling cold. He smiled as he was looking at her, before picking her up gently. Instinctively Jenny wrapped her arms around his neck and he carried her to her bed. He placed her down gently and pulled the blankets over her before returning to his own room to go to bed as well.

The next morning Jenny woke up in her bed, unsure how she got there. The last thing she remembered was coming home after taking her family to the airport. She had a vague recollection of being carried upstairs. She must have fallen asleep on the sofa along with Jason. She had had a wonderful night's sleep. She stretched out her back and got out of bed. She went into the bathroom to clean herself up. She felt a bit dirty after falling asleep like that. Still wearing her clothes from yesterday and not cleaning her face nor brushing her teeth. She glanced at the alarm clock next to her and saw she had woken up well on time, leaving her plenty of time to do everything slowly. After half an hour she came out of the room fully dressed and ready for school. She glanced over in the direction of Jason's room and saw his door was still closed. Jenny went over and knocked softly to see if he was awake. She didn't hear a response and knocked again. The room remained quiet. To prevent Jason from being late, she decided to go in and opened the door slowly. Once the door was opened far enough to see inside, she saw a figure beneath the covers. She entered his room and sat down on the bed. She gazed at the beautiful man that lying there and softly traced his brows with her finger. He had slight dark circles under his eyes from the late nights, which were now partly covered by his long lashes that would make any woman jealous. He twitched his brows from the sense of her touch. She then stroked his back through the covers and called out to him "Jace..Jace wake up. It is time for school." Jason responded with a "Ehm.." but did not open his eyes. Jenny giggled softly before patting his back with a bit more force "Come on. Wake up. Otherwise you'll be late" She bent down to give him a kiss on the cheek. Finally she caught his attention, he opened his eyes and his face showed a sleepy smile. With a husky voice he said "I woke up the moment you entered my room, but your last move got me wide awake. If you want me to wake up, school isn't a good motivator, but you are always worth my while." Jenny shook her head and let out a laugh over this silly man's words. She got up to head downstairs, but was pulled back to the bed by Jason.

"What's wrong?" Jenny asked with a shocked expression, not expecting the pull back. "Nothing..I just need a hug" He gave her arm another tug and she fell on the bed. She landed on his chest and he wrapped both arms around her, making her unable to leave. She let out a small puff of air through her nose as a smile came onto her face and hugged him back for a moment, giving in to his innocent demand. They laid there for a few minutes, before Jenny tapped his back once more indicating it was time to let go and get out of bed. Jenny headed to the dining room for breakfast as Jason entered the bathroom to wash up and get dressed. Looking at the time, she knew Jason wouldn't have time to sit down for breakfast, so she prepared him some food to take along and eat in the car. He came down just in time for them to leave and they both entered the car to start another regular week at school. At least that is what they thought..
