Physical contact

Jenny was lost in her thoughts. She was new to all of this and now she had to spend a week alone with a man. A man who didn't hide the fact that he liked her at all. She was to eat, sleep, bathe in a house alone with him. No one to break the silence, no one to stop him if he should push his luck. This was a lot to take in and she only had a matter of minutes to accept these changes. But she had to face them. Only then could this trip be a success for them both. Jenny took deep breaths and caught herself sighing just as deeply. She stared out of the window to calm herself down and settle her mood. All she could do now was to accept the situation as it was, but there was something about what Jason had said that didn't sit right with her and Jenny felt she had to address. But she would have to find the right words, because this might affect Jason's expectations of this trip greatly. She sighed once more.

She had sighed again, was she that angry? Jason did not know what to do right now, other than not adding fuel to the fire. So he decided to not speak until they had reached the house. It would give him time to think and the house itself would provide them with a distraction from the conversation they just had. They continued the remaining few minutes of the ride in silence. He needed to let Jenny cool off, so that when they entered the villa, they could start on a good note. Soon the house was in sight and Jason drove up the driveway. Jason opened Jenny's door and helped her out of the car. While she was looking around, he went to get her bag from the trunk. He was doing all he could to fix the mood. Jenny still didn't seem all that pleased, but that would surely change once she saw the feast inside. His mother taught him that a hungry woman, is a grumpy woman. So maybe getting some food into her, would clear up her mood entirely! Jason hurried them both inside and the first effects he was hoping for could be observed. Jenny's expression softened and was replaced by curiosity. Soon her nose caught up on what was happening in the dining room. "Is that food I am smelling? I hadn't noticed it yet, but I am quite hungry." Now her face was filled with excitement and she rushed towards the door to the dining room and threw it open. Jenny could not believe her eyes. A beautiful made up table with all her favorite foods. Every inch of the table was filled. On every corner she found food from another kitchen and her excitement grew more and more. She quickly sat down and called Jason to hurry as well otherwise she would start without him. Jason let out a sigh of relief and closed the door before making his way to the dining table. While they were eating Jenny dropped another bomb on Jason's plans.

"Jason there is something that we need to discuss. In the car you were talking about a safe word, but..." Jenny lowered her eyes for a bit. She thought for a minute and then looked Jason back in the eyes again and started talking. "I don't think we will be needing a safe word, because i believe the spark has to come from a connection, not physical actions. I plan to save myself for the man I am going to marry, so before we are at the very least engaged, nothing is happening between us on that front. Sorry to burst that bubble, but we should keep our expectations realistic so that we don't get disappointed in the end" The bar Jason had mentally lowered during their car ride, hit the floor when he heard this. This was beyond his expectations. How could this be. He wanted to grow closer on all levels. A part of chemistry is touch right? He had to ask her to clarify. "Uhm..What do you mean by "not physical actions". I can understand that some things are off limits. I can respect you wanting to save yourself for your future husband, which hopefully will be me. This puts me at ease even. But for us to know and experience the chemistry and the sparks, a certain amount of physical contact is essential. Can't we find some middle ground here?" He looked at Jenny with anticipation. Give me something. I cannot accept no physical contact at all. He felt he simply could not budge on this point. So he braced himself for a back-and-forth!
