Arriving at the car that had taken them here when Jenny had just finished her sentence and Jason his words of rebuttal, laughing together with Jason's arm wrapped tightly around Jenny. Jenny was just lowering her hand to open the door on the passenger's side, when Jason grabbed her hand turned her around. Interlocking their fingers on one side and using his free hand to brush her hair behind her ears, that had scattered to cover her face when Jason turned her around so abruptly. He gazed deeply at her in silence, causing Jenny's heartbeat to become more rapid. Though she was impressed by this fact herself, Jason was still able to get her all giddy, flustered and her heart racing with the slightest effort. His gaze finally moved up to her eyes as he started to speak.

"I might have said this before but this deserves to be said more often than not. I want to tell you that I love you and I want to thank you for making me so very happy. Not only have you made me a happy husband by marrying me, you are now working hard each day to give me happiness in the form of fatherhood as well. I know this is hard on your body and with each page I read, with each day that I watch your belly grow and with each moment of this journey I spend with you, my emotions change and grow. I feel more sorry for putting you through this, more grateful that you are willing to withstand all the hardships that come with pregnancy to make our family more complete, and more impressed at this miracle of life. To watch your connection with our child and watching it become more and more like a real little person with each ultrasound, I am feeling overwhelmed and fulfilled."

Jenny already being more emotional because of her pregnancy hormones and becoming more so after Jason's loving words, felt her eyes dampen. Which turned red after Jenny fought to keep her tears back, while wondering how Jason could say such words so easily and while they were standing in the middle of a parking garage. Jason seeing this, lowered himself to kiss each of her, glistening, hazel eyes, that closed themselves instinctively, before placing one on her lips as well. Jenny returned his kiss and hugged her loving husband tightly till she felt she had expressed all that she was feeling through touch. After that, she rested her head on his chest for a moment as they held each other in silence. Jenny listening to his soothing heartbeat and Jason letting her. Secretly loving the small puffs of warm air that managed to reach his chest through his clothes and the feeling of her pregnancy bump pressed against his body.

After their little moment together, they got in the car and headed towards the second destination for the day. Though the surprise had been spoiled for them, that didn't mean they couldn't still surprise the rest that had probably already gathered at their home. During the ride over, during this special day, Jason and Jenny felt very close to one another mentally. This resulted in having a bigger desire to be physically connected as well and thus being more touchy feely than usual. Holding hands during most of the ride, with the only intermissions for the purpose of shifting gears. Even then Jason tried to get the job done with just his thumb and index finger. Jenny in her turn was choosing to sit in a more uncomfortable position in order to be able to rest her head on Jason's shoulder as he drove. Using her free hand to graze up and down Jason's arm. Like that the ride passed by, shrouded in a cloud of pink in the air around them.

Though on most days Jason would still be driven by a driver, despite having a license of his own, because it allowed him to get things done during the time that would otherwise be spent on only getting himself from A to B. However, on days that he was off, he liked to drive the car himself and was something that Jenny preferred as well. Otherwise a moment like they had earlier would have been unthinkable for Jenny and probably a lot of other people. To have such a moment with a spectator right behind the window.

This need for closeness continued on as they went into the bakery to pick up the order that they had made through the phone during the ride over. Where normally was no big fan of PDA and Jason mostly settled for standing by her side or an occasional arm around her shoulder, today she was the one unwilling to let go of his hand. Keeping it tightly wrapped in hers, while she used her other hand to hold his upper arm as she wrapped her arm around his. Jason didn't mind this level of possessiveness at all and quite enjoyed having Jenny pressed against his arm, sending all the ladies in the vicinity that he was hers.

It didn't stop when they were back at home and among their close friends and family members for the gender reveal party they had organized. All day, Jenny remained sticking close to Jason. Something that didn't escape the attention of the people present, who looked at the two with looks of surprise. Any wordless questions asked to Jason, regarding Jenny's behaviour with nothing more than their eyes and eyebrows, were answered with a light shrug from his side. Even the presence of her mother, which usually was enough to make Jenny feel more self-conscious, was not enough to keep her from clinging to Jason more than ever.

Though to him it wasn't nearly as close as he would have them be on a daily basis, from their guests' perspectives she was closer to someone in a young puppy love than a married woman in her twenties with a child on the way. Regardless of how she seemed, they were all happy to see her so happy and didn't dare to say anything on the matter for fear that it would make her feel awkward about the situation and change her behaviour. Something which would surely result in Jason's mood and behaviour changing as well and not for the better. Because more than anyone, he seemed the most content by the current change in Jenny's behaviour.
