On and off switch

Jenny stroked the side of his face as she was lying underneath him and smiled at him as she said, "We are in my mom's room silly. She can return any moment to check up on us and besides that, the bed where I have been sleeping beside my mother and where she will be sleeping later tonight, is not a place to be doing something like that." He looked at Jenny for a few seconds with a puzzled expression, trying to think of good counter argument, before letting himself fall to the side in disappointment. Even after a good, long thought, at least what was considered long for a brain like his, he couldn't come up with a single good argument to continue here and now. Because quite frankly there was none and Jenny had been right. No matter how much he wanted to sleep with Jenny, he too couldn't exactly bring himself to do it with her in his mother-in-law's bed. Especially with the thought of being caught by Mary while they were engaged in such an intimate activity. Getting Jenny flustered by kissing her with people present or nearby was one thing, but potentially repeating the process that had gotten her pregnant in front of her mother was another.

As he sat up feeling disappointed and disgruntled, he brushed his fingers through his hair to get it back into shape. Jenny chuckled, feeling a bit sorry for Jason but seeing some amusement in it all as well. She got herself up and out of the bed with some difficulty before she walked over to his side of the bed and gave him a kiss on top of his head and a hug, pressing his face against her bosom as she tried to appease him. "Come on grumpy. Let's go and have breakfast. Your son and I are starving." Jason let out a sigh as he said, "Go on ahead, I will be out in a bit."

Thinking that Jason was pouting about not getting his way, Jenny tried to coax him by saying "Oh come on, no need to pout. You will have plenty have chances later. For now just focus on the wonderful food we are about to have and come eat with me. You must be hungry by now as well." She bent down by the side of his ear as she whispered, "Plus, if you want to continue where we left off later tonight, you will need to gather energy." Jason, couldn't help but glare at her for saying that as he responded to her taunting ways with the real reason for him not joining her right away. A reason, which was more a fact than anything else. It was one that she as a future doctor should have plenty of knowledge on and as the woman who had brought him to his current state just moments ago, should be a fact that she should have been plenty aware of. With an unhappy tone of voice he said, "Well it's not like I can control 'it' with an on and off switch. I need a minute to collect my thoughts and calm myself down. Unless you want me to show everyone out there what we were planning to do."

Jenny's cheeks flushed red as she understood what he was referring to, before she let out a stifled laugh. "In that case, I will leave you to it so that you can take care of business yourself." With much effort she got out that single sentence before the laugh that she had been fighting back came back full swing the moment she stepped out the French doors. Jason heard her laughter come in through the glass doors and sighed as he accepted the situation. With no clean clothes here, taking a cold shower wasn't an option. Nor was it an option to walk down the hall to their own room. Potentially running into their friends. So, waiting it out by thinking of other things was all he could do to relieve the pressure that had built up in his downstairs neighbour.

When he was finally able to join Jenny by the table that had been set by the poolside, she had already started eating. He sat down still looking slightly unamused and let his eyes adjust to the brightly shining sun. The first thing Jenny did as he reached for a freshly baked bun was teasingly ask him, "Has business properly been taken care of?" Jason responded with a begrudging, "Yes. Not thanks to your help." Causing Jenny to chuckle as she took the man sitting in front of her in. She had missed this. She had missed him. Talking over the phone wasn't nearly the same. She wanted to see every little, micro-reaction on that usually unflusterable face of his. As he started eating, he started on another topic he had been avoiding ever since early that morning. "Since we are currently alone out here, either because those idiotic co-conspirators of yours are still sleeping off their long night or because they have decided to give us some privacy, I think it is time we start addressing the matter of my loving morning call from today."

Jenny thinking that he was simply upset at them waking him in such an unpleasant way, responded with a defence based on him overreacting. Cheerfully she said, "Are you still upset over that little prank? Come on Jace, don't go around finding trouble with that just because you didn't get your way earlier. It was one time and it was just fifteen minutes before your alarm was supposed to go off anyways. Besides, you got to see me! Isn't that worth something?"
