Last fitting

Over the course of the two weeks till the entrance exams, the friends didn't get the chance to meet up again and even the lessons at school had stopped. This way the students could study on their own and prepare their minds for the exams. The only times they saw each other was twice for a brief moment at the end of each week. This was because on each Friday morning they had a mock exam to let students know how they were doing in terms of studying. During these mornings they would chat briefly before they had to go into the classroom and after the exam each of them went their own way to continue their studies.

In those two weeks they did not only receive the results of the mock exams, but the results of Jenny's re-exams were revealed as well and she had done much better than she had expected. Jason's spartan study sessions had really helped. Allowing her to make up for lost time quicker than she had anticipated. Till ten o'clock at night he would not let her off at all. Only allowing her to take a break for her three meals and school. Hopefully his help during these past weeks would do the same for her entrance exam results. So far the mock exams results had been positive, but that wasn't a guarantee that she would do well on the real thing as well.

But she had no time to worry. Her schedule gave her no time to. All she could do was bend over her books and study her butt off under Jason's watchful eye and guidance. Today however was a small exception as she would be receiving an extra breather while attending her final dress fitting! Though she said that, in her case the dress fitting was in their living room. Since she didn't want to wast any of her precious study time, Jason had arranged for the shop to come to them. This wasn't difficult to do as the designer was none other than Paolo Santini, who had designed all her favourite dresses so far.

She had made him the promise quite some time ago that he would be allowed to design her wedding dress when the time came and neither of them had forgotten the promise. He had kept the dress a secret for her till now, wanting it to be as much as a surprise as it would be to Jason. Intending to reveal it only on the day of the wedding. So, though she was excited, she knew she wouldn't even be allowed to catch a glimpse of the dress. She was blindfolded for the initial fitting and for the second fitting. She imagined that they would be doing the same for today. But it was exciting nonetheless. With just three more days till the wedding and just two more till her entrance exam, her emotions were all over the place.

She was just thinking about the fitting, when they heard a knock at the door. "Come in." Jason responded with a calm voice. It was one of the staff members who had just come to get her. "Miss Jenny, the designer is here. He is waiting for you downstairs." Jenny nodded and said, "I'll be down in a minute." The young woman took a light bow and left after closing the door behind her. As soon as she did Jenny immediately let go of her mature side and shot up in excitement. "Can you believe it Jace? It is already the last fitting! I am so curious to how the dress looks." Jason chuckled as he watched her excited expression. "Yes, I am curious too. But it won't be long now." Jenny clasped her hands around her face. "In just three more days we will be a Mr and Mrs. Considering you and mother planned it all, I am sure the wedding will be stunning, but I can't help feel a bit nervous about it all."

Jason smiled gently as he gestured for her to come over. Once she was close enough, he pulled her onto his lap and stroked her head gently. "I can't wait to call you my wife and have you wear that second ring. Letting everyone know to keep their distance from you. I wouldn't dare to let your first day as Mrs. Westwood be anything less than perfect. So, rest assured. You have nothing to worry about other than getting yourself downstairs and putting on your dress one last time with a blindfold on before you can put it on for real and stand by my side at the alter."

Jenny's face lit up once more and she nodded with a gentle smile. "Yeah with us being on different campuses after graduation, I need some insect repellent on you as well. I don't trust those University girls." As she said those words, she grabbed Jason's left hand and started tracing a circle around his left ring finger. "Ha ha ha. When did you become so possessive of me. I thought I was the only one worrying about those things in this relationship." "What made you think that. Did you forget how I was when Lizzy was my rival? Now I have learned new tricks and I won't let anyone steal my spot." She said playfully. Again he let out a laugh. "Well in that case I will look forward to how you will fight for me and the revelation of those tricks. Now you had better go downstairs. You still have plenty of studying to do. No time to waste on me and your flirting." With that she was chased downstairs as the time till their big day was counting down.
