Just love me!

Jenny tried to look away, having her eyes downcast, as she said "Well..I mean my mom's there and she is from a different time and culture. I don't think I would be very comfortable lying in one bed with you in the room next door to her." Jason let go of her chin and pulled her into an embrace instead. "Why? It's not like we are doing anything. We are just sleeping. Some day is going to have to be the first day. If not now, then after we get married are you still sleeping in a different room than me? I think your mother is more understanding and open minded than you give her credit for." Jenny looked up and now it was her turn to grab Jason's face. Trying to hold his jaw in the space between her thumb and the rest of her hand, forming her hand into a claw, as she squished the sides of his face. "Ugh what am I going to do with you, you stubborn, rational man. Every time I have my mind made up on something, you come and shake my resolve with your logic and puppy dog eyes." "You don't have to do anything. Just love me!" Jason showed a, wide grinned, cheeky smile as he moved his eyebrows up and down from getting his way. Jenny laughed at these words.

They continued to walk along the path when Jenny asked him "I'll talk to my mom, but are you sure that you are going to be comfortable with sleeping in my bed with my brothers down the hall?" Jason grew silent for a moment. He hadn't thought of that yet. His mind started predicting and playing out different scenario's and none of them ended well. 'There is no way that those three will watch on as I enter her room. If we really stay at her house, I can count on sleeping on a mattress in a smelly room with three other dudes for the entire summer.' He could already see his miserable nights, of one of her brothers having his arm around him as he slept, making sure he won't slip away during the night. The other snoring loudly and the last one holding his head and petting it as if he was a goat at a petting zoo. The thought of that made his skin crawl up.

Suddenly his confidence changed into a weird concern "If you will feel uncomfortable with your mom lying next door, we can always look for a hotel nearby. That way we won't have to inconvenience your mom and brothers either. Didn't you say that it's customary to give up your room and bed to a guest. I wouldn't want them to sleep uncomfortably. And we won't be able to sleep very comfortably either in a single bed. If we don't accept their bed and sleep in the attic, won't the hot summer weather bother us? Yeah I will look for a hotel as soon as we get back to the house." Jenny didn't know quite what to say. She didn't expect this sudden turn in his words. Her plan had been to stay at her mom's, because she wanted to maximize the time she could spend with her brothers and mother. Staying in a hotel would only mean traveling back and forth every day. It had seemed like such a waste, but sleeping in that warm and stuffy attic didn't seem very appealing either. "Y-yeah. If you are that adamant about it, then it's fine with me. "Jenny shrugged her shoulders as she said "It would make things a lot easier I suppose. That way I don't have to explain anything to my mom either."

"Oh, but if we do that, then we need to take care of transportation as well. Unless you want to go by buss every day." Jenny chuckled as she remembered her first bus ride with Jason back when he came over to convince her. "He, he, he..No thanks." Jason said awkwardly. "What do you have in mind? Do you want to rent a car? We would need to rent a driver as well as my learners permit doesn't count over there." Jenny had a pensive look as she though over this option before she responded "Hmm. No that sounds like too much of a hassle." As they sat on the tree trunk that they were both all too familiar with, Jenny jumped back up "Oh I know! How about we rent bikes and stay at the hotel in the next town over. The weather should be fine and we have a beautiful view. We can bike along the water. It won't take us more than half an hour to reach my mom's place from there. What do you say?" Jason grabbed both of Jenny's hands and gave a hard tug, making her lose her footing and fall onto his lap. He hugged her tightly from the side and planted a kiss on her cheek. "Yeah, that sounds perfect! That will give us a lot more freedom as well. If we have further destinations that we want to visit, we can always rent a car for one day. Or if that is easier, we can even take the bus as long as it isn't too often."

Jenny giggled and said "Good, then that is taken care of as well." As she started thinking about spending her summer in the Netherlands and how close the date of them leaving was, she felt her level of excitement grow. She clasped her hands together and looked at the body water in front of her. "I'm really excited about this trip Jace. I am so looking forward to going back. I didn't know I had missed my family and my life and friends over there this much, until the idea to go back for the summer came to me. Just three more days and I can have my mom's cooking again. Gyaa!" Even the thought of her food made Jenny squeal from excitement. With sparkling eyes, she turned to Jason "You are going to love it! She is one silly woman, but she knows how to cook. There has never been a meal that has beaten my mom's cooking." "Hm" Jason said as he let his head rest on Jenny's shoulder, enjoying the evening air listening to Jenny go on about all the things they would do during their second trip together.

Here we are again with another chapter! I want to thank qwertuiioop and Fill_Harris for their power stones for yesterday's chapter, I am glad you liked it.

I wanted to say that I am really excited to see so many different names lately. Though I love the people who have supported me from the start (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ), it's good to see new people discovering my story as well and liking it (*^▽^*).
