House rest
Another few months passed by and all the mini-members of their group were thriving just like their adult counterparts. This of course included Charlie, who was blossoming at his new school and was actually feeling challenged and learning something, instead of just participating for the sake of it. As good news was piling on, Elizabeth revealed that she had gotten pregnant again. This time it was a planned pregnancy but they had received a different kind of surprise. Namely, she had been told that she was expecting twins this time! Bringing yet another unexpected challenge in her life as she was apparently not blessed to have a surprise free pregnancy. It was a good thing that she and Nick planned on making this the last pregnancy as she couldn't take another surprise like this.
As another few weeks passed, where her stomach was growing a lot faster than with her first pregnancy, she got another piece of surprising news. Not only was she having twins, they were identical twins and she was going to have girls this time around, which was something that caused her great excitement. She had always been quite a girly girl and the idea of getting two identical, little dolls, that she could dress up and style their hair was causing her mind to go in overdrive. Even going as far as getting Julia to personally design the outfits she had in mind because she was certain that store bought clothes wouldn't fit her vision and she was aiming for perfection.
The only real downside to her current pregnancy was that having two babies inside of her belly apparently meant that the fatigue, that she had suffered from during her pregnancy with Sam, would set in even earlier and in a more severe form. Causing her to be put on house rest after just two trimesters. Fortunately, her pregnancy not only gave her this familiar and unwanted fatigue, it also had a very positive side. It seemed that her girls had become her muses before they were even born. Giving her a lot of inspiration for multiple commercials. Allowing Elizabeth to spend her mandatory sea of free time in a productive way.
As she started to envision her idea's more, she became more and more inclined to have her own girls star in some of them as she was sure they were perfect for the image she had in mind. Nick could only laugh silently as he listened to Elizabeth's wild plans and put her in a playful headlock as he called her "Adorable!" in a loud and cheerful voice. Ignoring any rumblings that resulted from this from Elizabeth over him ruining her hair. He couldn't believe how excited she was over this pregnancy and how she was planning so far ahead before their girls were even born, though he too knew that they would have him wrapped around their little fingers while making him worry every single night. As a former player he knew the game men played all too well and he could only pray that karma wouldn't punish his girls for his past. He was at least most certain that he would do whatever he could to keep the bad guys away and he was confident that Elizabeth would teach them a thing or two on how to break a player should one slip past his defences.

While most of their friends and even Jenny's in-laws were busy gushing over Elizabeth's twins and were regularly on the phone with her, this addition to Elizabeth's household hadn't been used to bring up the matter of when Jenny and Jason were planning on having a second child. This was much to Jenny's surprise. Especially since her in-laws had been there for a visit more than once to watch the babies on Elizabeth's private little home ultrasound machine, which Jenny was sure would cause grandbaby fever in Susan and Stephen. Luckily for her, she hadn't heard anything. Yet. Since she liked to keep it that way, she grabbed any chance she could to change the subject of babies all together to something else whenever she was at home and so far she had been very successful. If not at changing the topic subtly, then at least at making it clear that she wasn't ready to have that conversation should it enter their minds as the weeks went along.
Despite Elizabeth being on house rest and working plenty as it was, she also had a very demanding job in the form of almost daily visits of family and friends. Some visits were from those who were just excited for Elizabeth and Nick and wanted to give Elizabeth some distraction during her house rest, a distraction she didn't needed, others from people who were wishing that they could have a twin themselves. They were simply there so often to use this current opportunity to have some of that experience through Elizabeth. Jenny however, hadn't been able to go visit her friend even once yet and had only called her to congratulate her when she heard the news.
Other than that she had kept in touch by reading the messages in the group chat and responding to them on a daily basis. Though she really wanted to go and kept telling herself and Jason that they should, they were never able to find the right time. Not only had Jenny been busy writing her thesis during this pregnancy of Elizabeth, while taking on her final internship, Jason was also thwarting her. He was giving priority to making sure that Jenny had enough rest and picked that over them visiting their friends when they had so many people visiting them on a weekly basis. So, even when Jenny managed to find a small opening in her schedule and would request Jason to remind her, he would always find a way to distract her and make her forget the time. So far he had turned off her alarm, witched the date of her calendar reminder, had used the temptation of a ten minute nap AND had used his excessive charms as well as his brutish strength to get her into the bed in order to lure her into falling asleep from exhaustion. Causing her to miss whatever little opportunities she had.
