Here and now

Jason continued to tell about why he had hired his adopted cousin, who technically was no longer his cousin. "When we were looking for people to promote, I contacted him if he would consider coming back and taking the position as president of the technological department. He has a degree in that field and since my company belongs to that department, I wanted someone with the right skills for that position and I thought he was the right man for the job. He was quite reluctant in the beginning. Fearing that he will be sucked into our messy family matters again but when I told him what we had done and the changes that we brought he agreed to consider it. The day after the family meeting he contacted me and told he would take the job. Ever since then he has been working hard and has shown us what he is capable of and I can tell you, he didn't disappoint."

Jenny put her arms around Jason's shoulders and leaned her head against his, "I am glad to see that things are working out. You have worked hard for this moment. So, I hope that you also take time to enjoy what you have achieved. It is good to look back sometimes before moving forward. That way you can see your progress." Jason nodded in agreement before he asked her, "I have taken a moment to look back at our progress and I have come to the conclusion that in the last couple of weeks we have gone through a regression instead of making a progress. What do you propose we do about that?" Jenny looked at him with a look of surprise. "Regression? On what point have we regressed? I even brought you a home cooked meal. Isn't that a clear sign that we are still in a loving relationship that is going strong?" Jason shook his head. "We might be in a loving relationship but we have been missing out on a type of loving that is an important part of a married couple's relationship. Any romantic relationship in fact. Don't you think we should work on that in order to consider our relationship to be going strong?"

Jenny's cheeks turned red for the second time today as she got what Jason was hinting at. "Well...You have been coming home late and I have been busy as well. Making us both quite tired by the time we see each other at night. So, it's natural that things would calm down because of that." Jason shook his head again. "It might be natural but that doesn't make it okay." Jenny chuckled. "Fine, it's something we should work on and it isn't okay. It's not as if we can do something about it here and now. So, if it is that important, we should plan an evening out together and work on that part of our relationship." After Jenny said these words Jason got a mischievous smile on his face. "Well I am glad you said that because my mom always said that you shouldn't postpone something till tomorrow if you can do something about it today. I just so happen to have a bedroom connected to the office. I haven't had a chance to use that room or the bed in it yet. What do you say we break that bed in?"

Jenny's eyes grew wider for a moment after hearing Jason's suggestion. Not expecting him to really have the means to fix their 'problem' "here and now" like she had said. Jenny didn't have very long to think about it because with her already sitting on his lap, it didn't take much for Jason to take action and that he did. He used his hug as a means to pull her in and clouded her mind with a deep kiss. Seeing that Jenny did not protest, he took things further as he started to unzip the dress she had put on for him and with her in his arms he carried Jenny over to the wall that hid his office bedroom. With their lips still locked, Jason freed up one of his hands and he pressed the fingerprint locked door before stepped inside with Jenny. Once they were inside the door closed behind them automatically, hiding the two of them behind the book covered wall.

Jenny found herself on the bed with glazed over eyes, touching Jason's undressed well shaped body just seconds after they were discussing this very topic over dinner. Jason's greedy hands pulling off her dress hurriedly. Though Jenny could hear a ripping sound, her mind was focused on something else at the moment. As if he could read her mind, every time a thought about people outside knowing what they were doing behind these four walls, he would push those thoughts out with a kiss that left her breathless. His kisses and touches left sent her body ablaze and after their fiery moment of passion, they both laid side by side to calm their rapid beating hearts and to catch their breaths.

Once the haze in her mind had settled, Jenny shot up on the bed thinking about what they had done. She put her hand on her forehead as she held onto the covers tightly with the other. "Damn it Jason, how am I supposed to leave this place now? Look at my hair, look at my clothes. I think I heard a ripping sound earlier." She covered her face with both her hands as she let out sounds of worry and frustration. Jason chuckled at all her worries and sat up to place a kiss on the back of her head. "Don't worry so much silly. Even prisoners get conjugal visits. Have I become less than a prisoner? There is a shower and a blow dryer. If your dress did indeed rip, the there are even clothes for you in the closet. I had them put in when they put in mine. So, instead of you worrying over what can't be changed, we should enjoy this moment together before I have to get to work again."

Hearing how well prepared Jason was for her visit to this room and an occasion such as this, Jenny felt slightly frustrated as if he had planned this form of "breaking the room in" from the beginning but mostly she felt relieved that she wouldn't have to feel embarrassed during her walk back to the car. She didn't want rumours to start just when she had restored her reputation. With that worry settled, Jenny let herself fall back onto the bed again and enjoyed a nice cuddle with Jason on their little mini-date.
