Her first day at Mountforth high

Jenny was woken the next day by her alarm. They had to leave for school at 8:30 so she had set her alarm for 7 o'clock. This would give her plenty of time to figure out which uniform she was going to wear and have a peaceful breakfast with Jason and her in-laws. She jumped out of bed, washed her face and went to the lounge set, where she had gently placed the different uniform styles as to prevent them from wrinkling. She took up the winter skirt and a long sleeved blouse as they formed the basis. She paired it with a thick thigh high stockings and the high heeled pumps, as she wasn't very tall and didn't want to disappear in the crowd nor stand out too much. Now all she had to decide on the vest or blazer and on wearing the tie or the bow. She started with the vest and bow. She looked at herself in the full length mirror on the wall from different angles. She switched out the thigh high stockings for full tights and switched them back. She pulled her skirt a bit higher and back lower. She placed the end of her blouse inside the skirt and pulled a bit out again. While she was making these adjustments and was switching between the blazer, the vest, the tie and the bow, she did not notice that Jason had quietly entered her room and was standing by the door observing these outfit changes. He was alternating between admiring his fiance's figure, wondering if this uniform was designed just for her and laughing at her lack of noticing him and her nervousness for her first day at Mountforth high.

When she heard a laugh, she turned around to see Jason leaning against the wall next to her door and looking at what she was doing. He was looking dashing in his uniform. Standing there with his hands in his pockets he looked like he came straight out of a magazine. Although she had seen him once before in his uniform, the imprint in her mind was more of how he was taking it off to embarrass her than on how he looked back then. "Like what you see? You are one of the lucky few that has permission to stare as much as you want" A blush came over Jenny's face as she was feeling caught. Caught staring and caught playing "dress up" with her school uniform. After letting out a cough she said "Who would want to stare at you. I was just getting ready". She had tried enough combinations to make up her mind. She settled on the black tights, high heeled shoes, a tie and the blazer. This gave her a distinguished look and showed off her figure, but in a non-obvious way. After putting all parts of the uniform on and fixing her hair, she passed Jason without giving him a glance. He could tell she was feeling embarrassed and followed her downstairs while laughing at her stubborn ways.

After having breakfast it was time for them to go to school. It had been anything but a peaceful breakfast. Jenny wanted to blend in at school and had thought of different ways to do that. One of which being her not wearing her engagement ring, so as to avoid any questions she could not answer. She imagined him to have many fans and his stories from before proved that plenty of them were serious enough to try and have their parents form an engagement between them and Jason. How was she to make any girlfriends if they found out that she was engaged to him. If anything, that news would give her enemies. Another reason for not wanting her classmates to know that she was connected to Jason was because she did not want them to treat her differently because of it. This is why she had not worn her engagement ring on the designated finger, but instead put it on a chain and worn it as a necklace. She wanted to leave it home altogether, but this resulted in angry words and disappointed looks from Jason. This was the middle ground that they settled on.

The second thing she had thought of was arriving at school separately from Jason. But when she started on wanting to go to school alone, the second round of protest started. This time not only was Jason against this idea, but also her in-laws. They said that they would be too scared of her getting lost. The school was quite hard to reach and they wouldn't let just anyone inside. Before she was introduced properly it was unwise for her to go to school using other forms of transportation. Thus wiping her original plan of using public transportation off the table instantly by all members of the Westwoods. So here they were. Jenny was sitting next to Jason in one of their family cars, waiting for a flashy entrance that she dreaded. Jason knew that Jenny was ignoring her as she hadn't looked him in the eye since the moment they had left the breakfast table, but he was unwilling to budge on this point. He had never experienced someone wanting to pretend to be unassociated to him. Usually it was people bragging to know him or even fake knowing him and this girl had the audacity to treat him like someone to be avoided at all costs. Hiding their engagement was one thing, but hiding knowing him altogether! This he could not accept.

the wave didn't last as long as I had hoped. The time to go to bed has arrived. I hope you like what I have written till now and you enjoy this chapter.
