Growing closer

After a fifteen minute drive, Jenny noticed something was off. She was someone with poor direction skills, but she was able to remember specific things on the road. This would usually help her find her road. She knew from last time that the drive to Westwood mansion from the airport wasn't a long one. Despite that, after all this time, she had not seen anything that seemed familiar. "Jason, are you taking a different route? I don't remember anything I have seen so far and based on the time we have been on the way, we should be arriving at Westwood mansion any minute now.." "It was about time for you to pick up something" Jason said laughingly "But yes you are right. This is a different route, because we have a different destination. So, I would be surprised if you had recognized anything, because we are not going to Westwood mansion. We are spending this week in one of our other properties. It is a villa in the city. It was my mother's plan to allow us to grow closer during this week, without any distractions. The maids have been working hard to clean the place and stock the cabinets and the fridge. It will be our private place during your stay. No one, but us, will be there."

This took Jenny completely off guard. "W-what? What do you mean. We will be all alone in that house? Surely there will be a person of staff right..?" "I know that you did not expect this, but this week is very important to me and there is a lot at stake. I cannot afford unnecessary distractions or losing bonding time on pointless things. So to maximize my chances, I had to give us complete privacy. No interference, no other people, just you and me. I promise I will not do anything you don't want me to do. Before we go in, we can discuss a safe word. A word to let me know that I am taking things too far and you aren't ready for that phase. We can even sleep in separate rooms. I have no expectations, other than spending this week getting to know you better and charming you any way possible." Jason said to ease Jenny's worries. He could not let this plan go to waste. He did not however expect a glare.

What was this guy thinking. Did he really think he could trick her like that and she would have nothing to say about it. That she would simply say "OK!" like some bimbo or a meek little girl. Let's rid the world of this misconception. Jenny took on a stern expression and set Jason straight. With a hissing voice she said the following words. "Jason, let me make something clear. I told you last time that I do not like being lied to. Deceiving me, is a form of lying in my eyes and is something I do not appreciate. I understand that you had good intentions and your own worries might have gotten the best of you, but don't pull a stunt like this ever again. I am going to let it go this time for the sake of not wasting this trip. But any more of these kinds of so called "surprises" and I WILL get up and LEAVE. Then all your clever tricks will have gone to waste. Have I made myself clear?"

This last sentence sent slight chills down Jason's spine. Sure the words in itself were fine, but the tone and the look she was giving him mad him feel a cold he had never experienced before. It might be better not to mess with her too much. He had seen what she could do when angered. It was clear to Jason that Jenny was not amused by their little arrangement. He should readjust the level of affection he was expecting to achieve by the end of the week. Jenny meanwhile was wondering if her words hadn't been too harsh. But she felt that she needed to be clear from the get go on thing like this. She was not prepared for a week alone with Jason. Not at all!
