Game on!

The day of the meet had come and it was time for Jenny and Jason to execute the plan. The plan they had agreed upon was Jason claiming to have something important to work on and that he couldn't be disturbed. He would be locking his office door two hours before the meet up and would use pre-recorded surveillance footage to pretend he was still inside the building. Hard at work, while he used the tunnel to go over to the mansion and help Jenny get ready for the important 'date'. Right now he had made his way over and was showing Jenny how to turn on the bug and how she could attach it underneath his collar. Practicing on his collar a few times just to be safe. Just in case he had also prepared a second bug for Jenny and had placed it in the heel of her shoe. He was convinced they wouldn't check that far down and even if they did he had the metal stud replaced by a special metal that blocked the signal of the bug. Making it undetectable.

After all the instructions were finished, Jason held Jenny's hand in his as he pulled her next to him on the bed. "Do you feel ready? It is not too late to back out." Jenny shook her head. "No, I can do this. Now stop dawdling and get back before they figure out that something is wrong." Jason put his hand on the left side of his chest as if he had been hurt in the heart by Jenny's words. "Do you have such little faith in your husband?" Despite the nervousness she was feeling and despite it being a very serious moment for them, she couldn't hold back the laugh that came out because of Jason's silly jokes. "No, it's the opposite. I have great faith in my husband's jealous nature. So, I know he won't like the outfit I have prepared for tonight. Since I have to get changed to get started on my hair and make-up, I need him to leave before he changes his mind on letting me go."

Hearing those words, Jason gave in and got ready to leave. They had agreed before that Jason wouldn't be around for that part of the preparations for fear that his jealousy would get in their way. So, he returned to the office to get his actual work done and to prepare for his uncle's arrival with the 'unexpected' extra work intended to keep him busy for the rest of the evening. While he changed the looped video footage back to real-time security footage, Jenny had finished showering and was changing into her femme fatale outfit. When his uncle came in with the emergency files, needed for tomorrow's meeting, Jenny finished putting the last touches on her make-up. When Jason sent Jenny a message to let her know that his uncle had left, she sent the message they had come up with for why his uncle had to pick her up on his way instead of meeting up at the Golden Crown as they had agreed upon.

'Dear uncle, I am the bearer of bad news. I have dressed up prettily for our evening together but I am faced with a predicament. If I have the driver come pick me up in this outfit, he will surely inform Jason of it and it might expose us meeting up. I can't take a cab either. I have no cash as Jason wants to be able to track what I do and where I go. So, he lets me use a card for everything I need. If I take a cab, I would be forced to charge the expenses to the card and he will ask me why I took a cab when I have the driver at my disposal. Since, I have no means of getting to you, I am feeling quite sad. Will we need to cancel our plans?'

As expected the uncle replied shortly after Jenny had sent this message. She couldn't ask him to pick her up as it might make him suspect something but since she had told him before about Jason's controlling nature and how he didn't trust her, they hoped a message like that would tempt him into offering her a ride himself. A hope he seemed glad to fulfill. Jenny read his message out loud, which said, "How could I let a pretty lady doll herself up for nothing. I have just left the office. I will pick you up on my way. So, don't fret my dear and finish up. I will be at the mansion in twenty minutes." Though she was cheering on the inside Jenny replied, 'Are you sure it's not too much trouble? I don't want to bother you. I am sure another chance will present itself. Though I was quite looking forward to tonight...' Another ping, another message. "Nonsense. No trouble at all. I am sure we will think of a way for you to repay me." Getting out all her feelings of disgust before he was here to pick her up, Jenny shook her body as she yelled out "Blegh" before typing 'I am sure we will' with a wink-faced emoji.

When the twenty minutes passed, Jenny received a message reading, 'I am here. Open the gate.' She buzzed the gates open and took a few deep breaths. She checked her make up once more in the mirror, before stepping out the front door. As she walked out, a car came speeding towards her and stopped right before the steps leading to the door. She walked down the steps and grabbed the door to the other side of the backseat. As if encouraging herself she said the words, "Game on." and opened the door with a big smile.
