Five golden stars

The rest of the wedding was wonderful and soon Jenny and Jason found themselves on the plane back to England along with little Charlie, while her brother was on another plane across the airport heading to a much more tropical destination for his honeymoon. While Charlie was sleeping in her arms, Jenny spoke to Jason. "I don't know if I have said it yet but even if I have, it deserves to be mentioned even twice. I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated you not giving me a hard time when I didn't have much time for you these last few months. I know we were spending time together when we were preparing for my brother's wedding but we didn't get much time for you and me. Since I know how tough that can be, I was very happy to find out that you were handling it better than I did when you were the busy one among us. Plus, I really loved seeing how you helped our little boy though today. I saw him having a hard time and I wasn't able to help him myself. So, I was glad he had you by his side to do what I couldn't."

In a joking tone she added, "If there were points for being a good husband and father, you would get five golden stars for today's performance and your patience these past months." With a collected and confident smile, verging on arrogance, Jason asked "Well just because there aren't any existing points or rewards, doesn't mean we can't think up of something. So, tell me my dear wife, how do you plan to reward me for my praise worthy patience? Those five stars won't come cheap." Jenny looked back at him with a flirtatious smile and teasing eyes as she replied, "What kind of reward would you like?" With a straight face and not even the slightest shift in his voice he responded, "You."

His words caused Jenny's confident expression to falter for a fraction of a second while her heart skipped a beat from his answer, before she pulled herself back together. She cleared her throat and put her earlier confident and flirtatious expression back on before responding back to his little dare. "That you can have any day of the week. I thought you said the stars wouldn't come cheap. You worked quite hard to earn them. Are you sure you are willing to give them up for just that?"

Turning things up another notch during this night flight, where the only people who were awake were the two of them and one business man a few seats behind them, Jason decided on a daring move. He took matters further by staring Jenny deep in her eyes, as she tried to remain the person who was leading this conversation, and used a single finger to unfasten her top button. This revealed an eye catching cleavage. One he didn't let her cover up right away by grabbing the hand that shot towards it and held it close against his lips as he said, "Any day of the week? How about every day of the week, for a full week? If you can deliver on that promise, it will be well worth the price." After that he placed a kiss on the back of her hand with a dangerous smile and lifted both brows in a flirty way, before he released her hand. Jenny quickly used her freed hand to hold the two sides of her shirt together while she wondered how she could button back up with one hand without waking Charlie up.

Jason watched her struggle and squirm for a bit, while he could see the worry on her face become worse as the stewardess was making her way towards the front, before he let out a chuckle and used his hands to close her button back up. It was exactly this mix of shy, awkward yet daring that he adored so much. It was a source of amusement and a love language he could never get enough of. Each time Jenny did these things, it showed him how she was trying for his sake. Making that first move that she was so bad at but put effort in despite knowing that it will result in her getting teased.

Just in time, what had been revealed by a split second move, was hidden once again. With flushed cheeks, Jenny was glaring at Jason, who found each and every single look more amusing than the other. Holding back his laughter the best he could. Letting out whatever he could not suppress behind his closed hand, which he had used to rest his devilishly charming face as he stared in Jenny's direction. After the stewardess had come and gone, asking them if she could get them anything and returning to the back once her questions had been replied to with a 'no', Jason returned to his favourite hobby. "I never got a confirmation of our deal. So, tell me, can you deliver on that promise or should I just be satisfied with the current arrangements and pick something else for my prize?"

Instead of giving him a yes or no answer, Jenny responded with hostile, "Just you wait. I will make you regret that choice." Apparently she had forgotten who had started this and what the reason was that she had started that topic of conversation in the first place but nonetheless her words now would result in a very remarkable first day of their private getaway. One that even she didn't have in mind back when she planned their time together but this certainly wouldn't stop them from having a great time, which seemed to almost be something that was guaranteed whenever it was just the two of them.
