Dreaded and feared

"Wasn't it always me who was to become the future Mrs. Westwood. Didn't we make a pact?" Jason loosened Elizabeth's grip on his lower arm, held her by both her shoulders and lowered himself a bit to look her straight in the eyes. "Elizabeth there was never such a pact to begin with. We have always been friends and just friends. When have we ever shared moments that were more than platonic?". Elizabeth felt her anger and confusion grow. What was he trying to tell her. She used both hands to grab him by the shirt and asked, "What do you mean? Hadn't you always accepted me using the title of being your fiance? Doesn't that mean you feel the same way?! Hadn't we formed a pack in silence when you caught me telling that girl off by using that title?" So his assumption was correct. The misunderstanding arose at that time. "I had heard back in the day that you were telling people you were my fiance. It was during a time you were being bullied and I figured you needed the protection of that title, so I ignored it. I just wanted to protect you as a friend and I knew I couldn't always be there to protect you myself. Since you never did anything to make me think there were feelings involved and it kept some annoying people at bay, i saw no harm in it. But I was wrong. I should have stopped you back then or at least addressed it so the expectations were clear. Now you are no longer that weak girl and the person who that position belongs to has arrived. So I think the time has come for you to stop using that title. I am afraid it will cause Jenny to misunderstand me and I don't want that."

By now Jenny was done with picking flowers from the garden and as she returned she saw a familiar face in the kitchen. That of a foe. She rubbed her eyes to see if they weren't mistaken, but there was no doubt about it. Elizabeth was at Westwood mansion. What is she doing here? Was what she was saying during class true and were she and Jason really as close as she had described? Had she taken her place? If not, then why would she feel comfortable enough to enter his house and he was even holding her. They had to be more than mere classmates, so there should at least be some truth to their stories. She decided to observe the situation for a bit before confronting the both of them. Little did she know that Elizabeth was one to not accept what had been said for the simple truth. She seemed to always be able to spin Jason's words in such a way that she could still see a way out. This time was no different. In Elizabeth's mind she was thinking, again that little b*tch was mentioned! No, she couldn't accept this outcome. She didn't know what was going on in Jason's mind, but his parents couldn't possibly accept someone like that, right? She was probably just some minx that seduced him. Well two can play that game. Elizabeth threw herself forward into Jason's embrace and put her arms around his neck to pull his face down. She went in for the all or nothing and drew her face closer and pressed her lips onto his. Jason pushed her away instantly, but the damage had already been done, because it was at this moment he saw Jenny standing in front of the glass door.

Jenny's eyes grew from shock and disbelieve. It was the thing she always dreaded and feared, but never did she think it would happen so soon into their relationship. Jason just cheated on her and she hadn't even been here for a week. She stood frozen to the spot for a split second, but when she saw that Jason had spotted her, she bolted. Jason quickly pushed Elizabeth out of his way and chased after Jenny. "Jason where are you going! Just let that little b*tch be. I promise you will forget her in no time and then we can be happy together" Jason heard none of Elizabeth's words and was focused on catching up to Jenny. Elizabeth didn't let Jason running after Jenny get to her. Instead she was gloating and showing an evil and content smile. Hmph, you won't be able to stand in my way if I break you guys up. You will go back to where you came from and the spot next to Jason will be free for me to grab once more. Though it wasn't her intention, Elizabeth was quite happy with how things panned out. He wouldn't be able to ignore her forever, especially not now that he had got a taste of her. So long as she could stay by his side, he was sure to look at her one day. If not then she would make sure that if she couldn't have him, then no one could!

All I can say is, it is too late for me to finish this up now, but have some faith in our boy Jason. There are always three sides to every story! I promise to write some more tomorrow.

for now, enjoy and look forward to tomorrow!
