Caught

Meanwhile Jenny couldn't stop fidgeting. The entire car ride to the place they had agreed to meet with the boys was spent worrying. She was constantly looking out of the windows all nervously. She couldn't help feeling that this wasn't a good plan. Despite not planning on doing anything, she was feeling guilty towards Jason and even more than that she was fearing him finding out. Julia was touching up her lips in the mirror of her powderbox when Jenny did a final attempt at trying to change her mind. "Julia, are you sure you want to do this? It's still not too late to call this off. We can hang out with each other instead. We can go shopping or see a movie?" "No, I am determined. I am going on this date, with or without you. So if you want to back out, you can, though I hope you wont" Julia said as she held both of Jenny's hands in her own and looked at her with pleading eyes. To ease the worrying Jenny she continued "Why are you so anxious, it is not like Jason would ever be able to harm you or get angry at you. He has nothing to be angry about. You aren't doing anything wrong. You are just helping a friend. Besides, the way you are dressed it can hardly be said that you are "participating" on the date. Are you going there to guard me or to blend in"Julia said as she chuckled and gave Jenny an up-down.

Unlike Julia, Jenny had only changed into normal clothes and had refused to get dressed up or wear make up for this "date". She didn't even want to come and if she did get caught, she didn't want it to seem like she was trying. So she tried to look as plain as possible. She was wearing a simple t-shirt with a pair of jeans, topped with a black leather jacket, had her hair up in a ponytail and the only thing she was wearing on her face was a bit of lip balm to prevent her lips from cracking. Despite these efforts, she still looked beautiful, because her natural attributes were shining through. Jenny had clear, glowing skin and her cheeks were naturally flushed slightly making it appear as if she had worn blush. Combined with her long dark lashes and her glowing soft hair, she looked more like a model going for an audition than someone hoping to keep the men at bay. She was what one would call a natural beauty. Adding her height to the mix, she got a cute factor to go with all of that, so the odds of no one noticing her at the date were slim to none.

"I know he would never physically harm me, but I can promise you that he can and will get angry if he catches us. If not at me, then at you for taking me along on this date. I have even turned off my phone to prevent him from finding us. There is no telling what he will do if he sees us in such a situation and who can blame him. I would be pissed off as well if I were to find out he was on a date with a bunch of girls behind my back. You are forgetting that if he sees me here or hears someone talking about us going a group date, he wont know that I am just doing this to support you and not because I was looking for someone. Are you sure everything will be fine in the time between him catching us and me explaining what I am doing there?" Julia felt a shiver going down her spine when she imagined what Jason was capable of. She might not have known him as well as the other members of the group, but she had seen and heard enough to know that his anger was no joke. She had seen how much he cared for Jenny and the more he cared the stronger his anger. He would probably not care why Jenny was there, it would be enough to see her with other men in such a setting for him to lose his cool. But Julia wasn't about to let Jason scare her away from going on this date. It had taken her a lot of courage to break herself free from Harry and decide to meet other guys, so she calmed her nerves and with as much determination as she could muster up said "W-well then I guess we just have to not get caught. Let's go!" Julia exited the car hurriedly and headed towards the restaurant.

Jenny balled her fist as she gave herself a final pep talk before going in. 'Julia was right. She was simply going to support a friend, nothing more and nothing less. She wasn't doing anything wrong, it simply looked bad. As long as she didn't get caught, everything would be fine.' Julia had told her that she too had turned off her phone and had instructed her driver to do so as well. 'Without anything to trace or anyone to give anything away, the odds of them running into each other at this far away restaurant was small. The odds of him finding their private room was even smaller. Probably even nonexistent. She was going to go in, have a bite to eat and go back home. Once it was done or even during she could pretend this was all a dream. Yeah, it would be fine.' With this speech she too said her goodbye to the driver and left the car for the restaurant. Her pep talk helped her till the moment she opened the door to their private room and saw the group. Suddenly she felt a wave of regret wash over her, she took a deep sigh and entered the room as she changed her previous words. 'There is no way this could be considered a dream. No, calling it a nightmare would be more accurate. Now all she could do was hope that this date would go by without any trouble. If only time could pass more quickly, so she could go home. She didn't know why, but she felt like a storm was coming!

And boy what a storm it will be! Another day, another chapter. I have many idea's for the date itself, but I am juggling with a few of them for now. I hope to publish something later tonight and if not, then tomorrow definitely. So look forward to it and I hope you stay healthy dear readers!
