Back together

To his surprise Jenny said, "It's okay." without even flinching.

Feeling that she was holding something back he continued his questions. "Are you sure? Didn't you want to wait till marriage?"

Jenny raised her arm and put her hand on the side of Jason's face as she loving looked into his eyes. Touched by him thinking of their promise at this moment. "Yes, I did. But I have finally gotten you to accept your feelings and you have finally made a step towards me without me being asleep, I don't want to do anything to ruin that moment. You are finally looking at me again and are trying to get closer to me. If this is what we need to do in order to get past this, I think it is worth it. We are both eighteen. We can get married tomorrow if we want. But I don't know if I will still have this chance with you tomorrow. So, I want to see this to the end. Either way I won't regret it if it is with you."

Jason felt the gravity of her words and got off her. He grabbed her vest and threw it at her as he sat beside her on the heated floor and let out a sigh.

Jenny lifted her body off the floor. Feeling a bit anxious and perplexed, she grabbed hold of Jason's arm with one hand, while holding up the vest with the other. "Jason, it really is okay. If I can prove to you that I won't run away from you by us sleeping with each other, I really don't mind. All I need is a second chance from you. I promise that I won't run away ever again. If I ever do run away ever again and you find me or I come back, you can do whatever you want with me. You can even lock me up like you said you wanted to do before. You can keep me as your fiance, wife or maid. I won't complain either way." She said with a halfhearted laugh.

Before Jenny could go any further Jason turned around and put a finger to her lips to tell her to stop talking. "Though I appreciate you wanting to go this far in order to prove something to me, I already told you that I had forgiven you from the start and I had also already made up my mind. Did you already forget the roses you saw me with just now?" He said with a chuckle. He pulled her into his arms as he continued explaining his decision to the anxious and confused Jenny. "Did you really believe my stupid excuses? Did really think I would let you go away again? I was just startled when you caught me with those roses and it caused my defense mechanism to come up. I just couldn't get myself to make that first step, but being knocked off my feet like that put some sense back into me and pushed all that fear out. Though I have been wanting to make you mine for some time now and I still do, I don't want it to be like this. All I truly need is to have you by my side. Our first time shouldn't be out of insecurity or a sense of guilt. I have waited for so long and I won't break my promise to you now."

Hearing Jason's words and knowing that she had finally reached her goal, Jenny felt relieved and an indescribable sense of joy. She returned Jason's embrace and pulled him as tightly as she could. Soaking up every bit of this moment. Now that they had finally somewhat made up and some of the tension had disappeared, Jason started making jokes with a hint of truth as he continued to hold onto Jenny. "Maybe I should have you chipped. If it works on cats, why not on a little tigress. Especially one that tends to wander away from home. I can't believe you have ran away from me twice in less than a year. Somehow I feel cheated with you getting away with it with just a few kisses." Jenny laughed at Jason's silly joke. Something she hadn't been able to do from her heart for the past month.

Though they had decided to get back together, there was still plenty to talk about. So, while Jason prepared dinner for the both of them in the kitchen, she sat at the bar looking over the kitchen and they took their time to talk everything that needed to be talked about. Topics that had become important now that hey had become a couple again and of course about all that had happened in the time they were apart. While they were eating Jason finally discussed the detailed plan of his official joining of Westwood International and they talked about how their lives would be changing in the next couple of months.

As they continued to talk they moved upstairs, where they sat together in the room where they had built plenty of happy memories and a few sad ones. Sitting there in their little lounge, in each other's arms, after weeks of being apart, they discussed the topics they needed to discuss one by one. As the evening progressed, the topic of their wedding came up as well. After some back and forth they decided to bring their planned marriage date forward. This was a decision they had come to after talking about how much their lives would change after graduation.

Jason would have to officially take up his post at the family business and once he did their hectic live style, as the number one candidate and his partner, would start. That combined with the already hectic and stressful start of a live as first year University students at one of the most prestigious Universities, made them believe that if they wanted to actually enjoy the first weeks of being a married couple, they had best to get married before all of that. That way they would be able to go on a nice honeymoon and have a few weeks of peace, before they would enter the war zone that was the battle for the position of Westwood International's heir. Though at that point they had never thought that they would be beaten to the finish line by one of their close friends.

Here we are with another extra chapter for today. With 22 chapters being released in a little over a week and one big thing after another big thing happening, it was a wild ride but I hope you were able to enjoy it. We are now moving onto bigger and better things as two weddings are moving closer and Jason is preparing to make his way to the top at Westwood International.
