Assert some dominance

He had shocked Jenny who barely had time to respond, before she gave in for the slightest moment. The kiss was short and sweet. "I wasn't able to do this because we spent the morning fighting. If you expect me to ignore you in front of our classmates, you should at least make it up to me when we are alone." Jason said as he was showing Jenny his smug and teasing smile, while holding Jenny in his embrace. The reddened Jenny quickly looked away and broke herself free from his embrace. "Ehem..well let's go otherwise we will be late for second period" She bolted away towards the door and did not dare to turn around. This man truly was getting bolder and bolder. Again her lips felt like they were on fire and she imagined her cheeks looked like they were as well. She had to calm down quickly. Otherwise how was she to explain her appearance to her classmates. Though she was flustered, she was kinda happy with Jason's bold action this time around. This was a perfect ending to their first fight as a couple, she thought to herself while suppressing a giggle. Jason couldn't help but let out a short chuckle after seeing his feisty tigress turn into a bolting bunny in a flash. He slowly followed as to prevent them arriving at the classroom at the same time. It wasn't like he had to worry about being late. No one dared to say anything to him, so he might as well put that privilege to good use.

By the time Jenny arrived at the classroom everyone had already left for the next period. She quickly grabbed her books and her bag and left for the next class. She came across a cleaning lady and asked her where she could find the classroom she needed. If she waited any longer she would not be able to leave enough time between her and Jason's arrival, so she ran in the direction the lady pointed her to and saw her classmates at the end of the corridor. She entered silently and quickly sat down so as to not attract any attention, but this plan was unsuccessful. The fan club had been waiting for her to get back. They had plenty of questions. With the leader of the pack being Elizabeth. The person the whole class, no even the whole school, supported as Jason's future wife. You see, till now the only woman who had been allowed to get near Jason (or as they called him Mr. Westwood or prince) and his buddies had been Elizabeth. They had known each other since junior high and Elizabeth was both smart and beautiful, and she came from a distinguished family! So they were able to accept it if she was the one to capture the prince's heart. Elizabeth had gone to France on a foreign exchange program and Jason had not thought of informing her about his engagement. He had talked to his male friends as to ensure they knew how to keep a proper distance of what was his, but he hadn't thought about the problems his only female acquaintance would create for his wife to be. Elizabeth was annoyed. She had only just returned from France and when she got back this girl suddenly joined their class and she clearly had something to do with with Jason. It was time to find out what this something was. She wasn't going to let some pesky fly get near her man. She had guarded her position as the only female around Jason for five years now and she wasn't going to allow that to change. Just because she had been away for a little while other people had gotten cocky and think that her position is up for grabs. Time to assert some dominance.

Elizabeth and her posse came towards Jenny's desk and the questioning began. "So, Jennifer was it?" Elizabeth asked as she looked at Jenny with a condescending glare. "What is your connection to Jason? I don't appreciate people coming near my man. You might not know it yet because you just came here, but I am going to be the future Mrs. Westwood. It's best you know your limits and keep your distance from what is mine. I am not a person who likes to share, if you know what I mean". Though Jenny had decided she wanted to keep a low profile, this person was pushing her luck. She was threatening me?! And she was so arrogant that she thought she was already his missus. Jason had better explain to this girl what their relationship was before she started sending wedding invitations. Now to add insult to injury the group started chiming in as well. "Yeah miss Elizabeth has been the only female Mr. Westwood has let near him and the only one he lets call him by his given name. You are nothing compared to her. She is his match in terms of looks, brains and family background. You should know your place before fancying someone that far out of reach." By now Jenny couldn't help but chuckle. These women were delusional and crazy. How many poor women have they bullied and fooled like this. Hmph, I guess I should thank them for keeping my place warm.
