Apology not accepted

With a confused look Jenny asked the girl kneeling down in front of her "Make who stop?". With a sobbing voice she answered, "Miss Elizabeth. She has pictures of me! I can't have those get out. I will be ruined. My engagement will get cancelled. Please tell her to stop. My parents will kill me if my engagement falls through." Jenny had no clue what the girl was talking about, when Elizabeth came up from behind the girl and revealed her crime with a cold, harsh glare. "What are you blubbering about, instead of apologizing properly. Be glad that I found out first. If it had been Jason, you would be begging for this punishment instead. This stupid woman was telling her friends that she had hired someone to take improper pictures of you when you get dressed for PE today. She planned to have them posted all around the school. She wanted to use those pictures to disgrace you and ruin your reputation, hoping that it would make Jason leave you. She was even talking about photoshopping your face onto more indecent pictures on the internet, to make ads of you offering guys a good time. Not knowing that she would be signing her own death certificate instead."

Once Jason heard these words his eyes grew and turned ice cold. He had heard that this girl was talking badly about Jenny and was spreading some rumours. He had planned to take care of her before the start of the new school year, but he didn't know that her schemes had gone that far. How dare she think of harming Jenny, of harming their relationship?! It seemed he had been too soft lately. Even these little flies thought they could try and buzz around what was his. Suddenly he felt like whatever Elizabeth could have done, wasn't enough of a punishment. He would make sure that she would never even think of harming Jenny, ever again! They could all feel the drop in temperature and Jason's threatening glare. Elizabeth started second guessing if she should have revealed the girl's plans. Since she hadn't actually done anything yet, Elizabeth had planned to let her off after making her feel the threat of something similar happing to her and have her apologize, but she was feeling that she had underestimated the zero-tolerance policy of Jason. Because he was clearly not looking like he would let her off with just that.

With Jason's glare aimed at her, the girl started shivering even more and turned pale. She did not dare to look up and meet his eyes. Clasping her hands together, praying for a hail mary as she was waiting for anyone of them to speak. Though she looked pitiful to any outsider, none of the people in this company felt sorry for her at all, including Jenny herself. With folded arms and angry eyes, Jenny stared at the girl, as if wanting to burn a hole through her. This girl had planned to hurt her, when she had never done anything to her. Heck she didn't even know the girl's name or in which class she was, but she had such a vicious scheme prepared. The only reason she was sorry, was because she was caught and something important to her was on the line, not because she was feeling remorse. Since this girl wasn't planning on holding back for her, Jenny wouldn't show any mercy to the girl either.

The thought of this girl only wanting to harm her out of jealousy, for something she could never have and while being engaged herself, really made Jenny angry. She was shocked to know that there were people like this, that she was this unaware of her surroundings, that she was this close to having her reputation ruined. Though she knew Jason wouldn't leave her over something like that and that the trust between them was stronger than that, she cared about her image and she didn't want those kinds of rumours sticking to her name nor to Jason's for having a fiancé like that. Luckily Elizabeth had been able to intercept the girl's plans before she was able to act on them. Though Jenny was unaware of this, this wasn't the first person who had tried to harm her. It appeared that Jenny had a knack for gaining enemies, just like Elizabeth did. Where in Elizabeth's case it was caused by her arrogance, with Jenny the fault lied with her indifference to Jason's status. Her not treating Jason as someone extraordinary and her having a normal background herself, made a lot of people upset with her.

Lucky for her, most of these enemies would stick to petty pranks and creating rumours. Only some dared to actually put their thoughts into action, but usually Jason would have stopped these people before they were able to get close to her. If Jason hadn't been around her, who knows what would have happened to her over these past months. Between guys who fancied her and girls who envied her, Jason had a full-time job fending everyone off. Especially when they didn't know that she was his fiancé yet. Now most people knew better, but you always had those few individuals. Somehow, they thought that as long as they didn't get caught, as long as it couldn't be traced back to them, they would be safe. And then you always had the crazies that had convinced themselves that Jason would be too grateful to find out that Jenny wasn't who he thought she was, that he wouldn't even get mad if he did find out what they had done. This girl appeared to have belonged to the latter. Seeing the anger on Jason's face, Jenny decided to let him handle this as she bent down and said "Apology not accepted."

Here is chapter number two! Let's find out what Jason and Elizabeth have planned. I will be back here tomorrow with two new chapters. I hope you will enjoy :D
