A surprise entrance

After having dropped off little Charlie, Jenny went over to the Westwood head quarters to pick up Jason, who was still clueless to the whole plan. With excitement in her heart and an air of confidence, she stepped out of the car she had parked out front on one of the executive spots, earning her stares and gasps from the people walking on the streets surrounding the office building. These were all people who worked at the nearby companies and were well aware of how impressive one must be in order to obtain a position as an executive at Westwood International but of course had no clue who Jenny was. Only being impressed by her young age and their own speculations. Jenny wasn't very aware of their stares, having by now adopted a certain filter for this things.

By the time she arrived it was already past four in the afternoon. Before she walked inside she glanced at her watch. With an internal chuckle she imagined how he would react to her ending his peaceful day. Feeling that she had been a supportive wife by letting him continue his work undisturbed for almost the entire workday. Now it was time for her to put an end to that and steal him away. As she made her way to the elevator, she greeted everyone with her usual smiles and pleasantries. Adding a hushing gesture when she passed by the front desk with her finger in front of her lips and one of her trademark awful winks as she pushed the woman's hand back down before she could call Jason to let him know that his wife had come to visit him. Having planned for a surprise entrance, she couldn't have it spoiled so early on.

In order to make this happen, she had called her father-in-law shortly before she entered the building. Informing him of her arrival and her plan. Since she would need to pass through his office for this surprise to work, she needed to ask him for another favour. She also needed a bit of his help since she needed Jason to be in his own office or somewhere she couldn't run into him, something which could probably only be easily managed by him as his father and superior. When the elevator doors finally opened at the familiar floor, she glanced around before stepping out from her metal hiding spot. With rushed movements and quick smiles left and right as people greeted her, she entered Stephen's office with as few witnesses as possible.

Just like Jason, Stephen knew there were few people who dared to enter his office without knocking. So, without looking up from his look, he started a conversation with his daughter-in-law, whom he was expecting. "Hello sweet blood-unrelated daughter of mine. You ready to kidnap your husband?" Jenny replied in the same style, "Greetings to you my father by choice, provided by marriage. If I have your permission I would indeed like to excuse your son from the remaining hours of his workday and take him away for the next days to come." Having finished what he was working on, Stephen looked up from his screen and with an amused smile answered, "Permission granted. Now hurry away before I change my mind." With these words by her side, Jenny walked up to him and placed a kiss on his cheek before opening the second door, the secret door, that was unique to only his and Jason's offices.

She would use the glass tunnel to pass over to Jason's office without him seeing her. To allow her to get inside unnoticed, she called him the moment she stepped out and as usual her calls would be answered before the third ring. No matter where he was, how busy he was, she could always count on him making time to answer her calls. Something that was essential for her current plan to work. As he leaned back in his seat and with a gentle smile on his face, he picked up her call. "Hello my dear wife. To what do I owe the pleasure? did you miss me already?" Jenny played along with his flirty banter because she needed him to be as distracted as possible. "You know that I always do. If it were up to me, you would never leave the house. But who will earn the money for me to spend like water? To support my ill habits, I have no choice but to let you work. So, I will have to make due with hearing your voice every now and again." Jason quietly listened to her talk, while occasionally letting out a soft chuckle. "But for today I have prepared something even better. I have a special delivery for you. It should be at the postal corner of your floor as we speak. Why don't you go have a look and tell me what you think."

Jason answered with an 'Uhn' sound before he said, "I will go right away. I am quite curious what this special delivery could be. It wouldn't be you with a bow wrapped around you would it?" Jenny stifled her laughed at his keen senses. How close he was to the truth but she couldn't have him find that out just yet. So, with a calm voice she replied, "I fear that I am too expensive a package to be delivered to a postal corner. I am definitely registered mail, having to sign upon delivery, kind of package." As they continued to chat like this, Jason made his way out of his office while Jenny worked her way inside through the secret door by the window!
