A stoic expression

Jenny and Max had been drawing for some twenty minutes, when all of a sudden a downpour started. Though rain wasn't uncommon in England, nor was a rainfall in October unexpected, at this particular moment it was. And it startled the both of them when they felt the cold drops of water land on their skin. Most of the students had been near the school, so they could hurry inside, but Jenny and Max were too far to make it back dry. They ran through the pouring rain, while holding up the backside of the clipboards with their drawings over their heads. When they finally stepped inside the school, the two of them started laughing loudly. By the time that they had reached the school, the rest of their classmates had already returned to the classroom. So, just like in the garden, they were in the hall by themselves. Though this time that moment didn't last long. Before Max and Jenny had fully caught their breaths and before they could even say another word to each other or turn around to face each other, Jenny fell silent.

Jason had, as usual these days, been looking out of the window. When the rain started and he saw Max and Jenny come running down from the garden, he got up from his seat. Without saying a single word and with a stoic expression, he opened the classroom door and walked out under the stares of his friends, classmates and teacher alike. He had seen everything, including Jenny and Max laughing with each other and the thing that had made him come downstairs, which was Jenny getting soaked despite her covering herself with the clipboard. Though today had been quite sunny, the rain should have been cold and he didn't want her to get a cold from her wet clothes. When he closed in on the two of them and Jenny straightened her body, he saw something even more concerning. Ignoring Jenny's expression as he saw her mouth the word 'Jason...', he continued to walk to her with a deadpan expression, while taking off his jacket. Completely ignoring Max's presence, his eyes only seeing one thing, one person, Jenny. The moment he was close enough he draped the jacket over Jenny's soaked body.

Being covered by something warm and seeing Jason's unwavering eyes and dashing looks, Jenny stood there frozen in his arms. In her mind she was thinking that she sure had missed looking at this handsome man. It felt like ages since she had stood so close by him. She could get lost in those eyes any day of the week, but right now she couldn't, she shouldn't! Though she had stood in his arms defenselessly for a brief moment, before she could register what was going on, but the moment she did her calmness changed. When she came to her senses she tried to push Jason's hands away and tried to take off his Jacket under words of protest, but Jason was stronger and without any effort his grip kept the jacket right where it was.

Jenny turned her eyes up once more and with a glaring expression she says, "What are you doing Jason? Let go of me. I don't need your jacket. I just got a little wet, I'll be fine once I change into my gym clothes." With a clenched jaw Jason responds, "Look down before you tell me you don't need my help. Are you sure you want to be walking around the school like that, especially with that guy walking next to you?" Though Max was saying things like, "Hey what is that supposed to mean" and "Let go of her. She clearly doesn't want you here." Neither Jenny nor Jason seemed to be registering his words or paying him any attention.

When Jenny did what Jason had told her to, she saw what he had noticed from that distance, which was that her shirt had become see through. Though she had checked to see if the shirt was see through without the undershirt, she had checked it when it was dry. Now that it had become wet and the fabric stuck to her skin, her purple-black bra could be seen as clearly as if she hadn't been wearing anything through the white buttoned up shirt. She hadn't found the time to go back to the Westwood mansion and pick up some more clothes nor her undershirt because she had been too busy with work and school, but right now she regretted that she hadn't made it a priority. Jenny's face flushed red completely. With a gentle voice Jason said, "Now that you've seen it, can you stop making me worry and keep the jacket on? It is way too cold for you to be walking around in soaked clothes."

Jenny nodded her head silently and she stopped fighting Jason's grip. Instead she put her arms through the sleeves of the jacket and pulled it close tightly. She thanked Jason without looking up, before making her escape. Having done what he came here to do, Jason left as he came, which was without saying a word, a stoic expression on his face and ignoring Max's presence completely. Leaving him flabbergasted at what had just happened and why no one seemed to notice him or acknowledge his presence. Having been left alone, he headed towards the classroom with a sense of disappointment. The moment Jason came into the picture, Jenny no longer saw him. As he walked, he fixed his hair by running his fingers through it. While he passed by the different classrooms he told himself out loud, "I have to act quick otherwise this opportunity with Jenny will close down before I am able to achieve anything."

Here we are with chapter number one and chapter number two is on it's way!
