A sleepover

It seemed Elizabeth had not learned her lesson yet and might have even come with a vengeance, but Jenny decided to pay it no mind for now and enjoy her party to the fullest. She would deal with Elizabeth later. Jenny finished drying her face and went back to the party as if nothing had happened. She smiled as she rejoined her group of new found friends, her family and her friends from home that had flown out to attend her engagement party. They all danced the night away and the evening was sealed with a beautiful firework show. Slowly guests were making their way to leave for their own homes with reluctance as they weren't ready for this magnificent party to end yet. They weren't ready to never be able to see this beautiful hall again. So to be able to tell their friends and relatives that weren't invited about this party in full detail, they had to take in as much as they could and no one felt like they had been able to do so. After the majority of the guests had left, all that remained were her and Jason's close friends, her in-laws, her mother and brothers and her relatives who would be accommodated by the Westwoods. It had been decided that Jenny's family, who planned on staying for a week, would stay in the house in the city. This was the house where she and Jason had gotten engaged and would be perfect considering the reason they had flown out here and had a good location to ensure they would be entertained during their stay. The house had enough room for her entire family and had staff to assist them during their stay. They wanted to be in the city so they could enjoy some sight seeing while they were in England and Jenny was at school.

Her friends would only be staying for another day, as they couldn't get time off from school, and would stay with her in her room at Westwood mansion. Though the Westwoods had many rooms to spare, the close friends wanted to have a sleepover like the old days. Which was of course in the same room and Jenny's room had plenty of room to spare for them to do this. Jason saw the sparkle in Jenny's eyes while she was making and discussing these plans with her friends and decided to give Jenny some time alone with them. He walked over and tapped Jenny on the shoulder. Jenny turned around with her bright smile still shining on her face. Jason let out a chuckle seeing this. He greeted her friends and excused himself for taking Jenny away for a moment. He grabbed her hand and took her with him to an unoccupied corner of the hall and said, as he brushed a piece of hair from her face, "I will be spending the night at Harry's with the rest of the boys. We haven't had a guys night in a long time and my parents will be spending the night at this hotel, because they have planned an outing with your family for tomorrow. So you will have the house all to yourself. I hope you don't mind me not spending tonight with you. "

Jenny's expression softened into a gentle and loving expression. Though he made it sound as if he was doing this for himself and it was all but a coincidence, she knew he did it for her. He didn't want to interfere in her time with her friends, whom she wouldn't see for months after they went back home and would surely miss a lot. So he wanted to allow her to give every bit of her attention to them and make as many memories with them as possible to last them till they would meet again. So without her having to feel guilty for not give him any attention on a night like this, he excused himself and even made sure that she wouldn't feel bothered for not spending time with her family or her in-laws tomorrow. So while pretending to adjust his tie, she tugged at it slightly and while standing on her tippy-toes she placed a kiss on his lips and whispered a thank you. With a flushed expression she walked away and left Jason in a slight daze, before he put his hand in his pants-pocket and let out a small chuckle with his closed hand touching his lips. Both of them rejoined their group of friends and informed them of the adjustment in the plans and both had to withstand some teasing in return.

Back at home Jenny let herself fall on her queen sized bed and melted away in it's softness. She thought back about everything that had happened and couldn't help but smile when thinking about about the evening, the beautiful party, about seeing her friends from back home and her family. The encounter with Elizabeth was but a speck in the totality of the evening. While she was thinking about the new friends she had made in Julia and Sophia, her friends from home entered her room after touring through the downstairs east-wing where Jason and Jenny stayed. Her in-laws wanted them to have some privacy so they moved to the west-wing when it was decided that Jenny would move to England. The girls couldn't contain their enthusiasm and excitement and their high pitched screams increased when they saw the room Jason had designed for her. With every detail that was revealed, a wave of excitement left their bodies. Jenny couldn't help but laugh at their reactions and the exhaustion she felt before was wiped away. This was a good thing, because her friends didn't plan on letting her sleep tonight!
