A princess

Jason clearly did not expect that question. So, he needed a moment to think before he could answer her.

"I have to admit that I would be pretty torn if you did end up getting pregnant in the near future. True we have a lot of resources regular people our age don't have. But it would still be difficult for me to be by your side during it all and I think it would be hard on you to continue your studies while being pregnant. I barely will have enough time to spend with you after graduation, let alone have enough time to take care of a newborn baby or spend time with him or her."

Jenny felt her heartbeat increase as a sense of worry came over her. Trying to play it off as calmly as she could, she continued the conversation. ""Well since we are on the topic now, are you sure that moving the wedding forward, while you are busy with the merger and stuff, is the right move for us? We keep talking about this as if it can't happen to us, but what if we do end up getting pregnant? Will you be able to handle that responsibility along with the pressure from work? What would you do if you were forced to choose between your revenge or starting our own family? Would you want me to give the baby up if it should happen?"

However, Jason noticed the change in her behaviour and grabbed Jenny's hand as he tried reassure her. "I know I am making it all sound impossible and difficult now, but if it should happen I am sure we will find a way. If you would end up being getting pregnant, my number one emotion will be happy and the second will be excited. Worry will at the most be in third place. So, don't get any crazy ideas in your head should you find out we are expecting a little munchkin of our own. Besides, the odds of getting pregnant through two types of birth control is damn near impossible. Sophia and George really defied the odds there. So, there is no use worrying about those things now. We'll cross that bridge when we get there." Jenny felt relieved hearing Jason's answer and chuckled as she let her head fall on Jason's shoulder. "Let's hope their luck will be just as great when it comes to the other aspects of their live."

Though she too would freak out if she did end up getting pregnant while she was still trying to get a degree, some things in life cannot be planned. So, should it happen, she wouldn't want the baby to be considered a burden. But Jason was right. For now they would have to focus on the wedding and they would deal with whatever came after that, when they actually happen. No use worrying about everything already. That will only spoil the fun of everything in between!

The following week went by in a flash and before they knew it, the day of the wedding of Sophia and George had arrived. It would be held in the backyard of Sophia's family. They owned a beautiful mansion with a large green garden, which was surrounded with lots of beautiful flowers. Sophia's father considered her to be the apple of his eye and he treated her as a princess. Wanting everything in her life to suit that image, he had given her a bedroom that was all pink, lace and white. And the garden had been decorated since her infancy to match the angelic looks of Sophia. If she hadn't gotten pregnant, her wedding would be that of a princess as well. They had booked an ancient castle, including all the rooms for their guests to stay in. She would be brought to the venue in a white carriage drawn by four white horses. The wedding was planned for late September, so that they could complete the image with candle lit walls and ceilings. Something which might be too hot in the middle of summer.

For now they would have to make due with the backyard at her family home. But when Jenny and Jason arrived and saw the way her home and backyard had been decorated, they agreed that it looked so good that if you had told them this was the plan all along they would have believed it. It didn't look like a last minute wedding at all, convincing them both that it must have cost a lot to get everything done in such a short amount of time. Especially with such quality. Making them look forward till the "actual" wedding next year.

When they walked further along to where the other guests seemed to have gathered, they saw that Harry and Julia had already arrived. When they walked over to the two of them, they shared their excitement for today's event.

"Hey."

"Hey"

"Did you guys talk to Sophia and George yet?" Jenny asked.

"No, not yet. I wanted to go see them once you guys and Lizzy and Nick had arrived. But surprisingly they are running late and you guys came on time. Life never ceases to surprise us."

Jenny chuckled, while Jason just shrugged his shoulders. With clasped hands and a big excited smile Jenny said, "They must be feeling nervous. Oh and Sophia must be looking beautiful."

As Jenny finished these words, Harry spotted Nick and Elizabeth walking up to the group from behind Jenny and Jason. He stuck up his hand and received a similar greeting from Nick from a distance. When they reached the others Elizabeth cleared her throat as she explained their reason for being later than usual. "Sorry. We were almost ready when SOMEONE couldn't control himself and ruined the dress I had on. So, I needed to change into another one and with that change my accessories." Understanding the hidden meaning behind those words, which were confirmed by Nick's cheeky smile, they all let out a chuckle except for the two people involved before they headed back inside together. Now that their group was complete, it was time to find the bride and groom.
